ok guys.. i have update bout the stickers... outer wording tat is "www.singaporebikes.com . yamaha tzm" will either be white or black depending on ur helmet colour.. the logo 'TZM' is a two colour scheme tat is the lining and the inner colour... u may choose the inner colour(any colour)...

So i hope everyone is getting one.. :)

n0 ley i nvr brng my m.. my frens drive ther.. tips al0t sia they give.. muz jaga engine 0il, 2t, valve m0t0r,pist0n etc etc.. min0r2 thngs als0 muz take heed.. as f0r stunts, u muz have big balls.. c0nfidence but n0t 0ver-c0nfident.. practice makes perfect... 0f e 20+ tzmers tat i met up, alm0st 3/4 br0ke their b0nes, stitches here n ther... but still d0ing stunts n trying new 0nes...

Sian... Juz gotten my bike.. Hard to kick-start.. Haiz.. Told the shop the batt seems weak liao but he says the batt ok de coz juz did servicing last mth.. =.= Wat is the proper procedure to kick-start early in the morning?

1. Down the lever for the choke.

2. Lit a cigarettes and take out hp sms a bit.

3. After abt 1min start kicking the starter to start the bike.

 

Am i correct abt these?

 

There's a valve on the left side, not too sure wat was that.. Can turn one.. The arrow pointing down at max/min.. -.-

 

Wah feel like going to go make electric start.. lolx.... Help, anyone?

hi congrats on getting ur bike

dun worry bro its nt e battery's fault for tzm..

get a better mech to check ur sparkplug and settings

 

1) kick start a fewtimes, if cannot

2) pull choke lever

3) start bike

4) push choke lever back

5) Lit ur cig, let bike idle warm up

6) finish up cig and move off

 

too much smoke will get summoned bro, set ur 2t lower but not too low

abit smoke can alrdy

hey bro now rainy season more difficult to start leh..this morning try to start until like mad.. nearly gave up.. luckily after so many tries i manage to start my M.. just an advise.. if your M cant start dont panic..chill..there are a few factors why your M cant start..like me i'm still learning and correcting my mistakes..

open choke. dont wait. just kick.

but rmb to kick about 2 times before turning on ignition and pulling choke.

Please off fuel tap when bike is at rest. so that fuel will not leak.

pull choke.. give 2-3 times pre-kick.. on ur ignition , feel the compression and kick fully down... no need wait 1 min kick... after start already u can lit ur cigarette and smoke for half an hour also can.. :thumb:

if die2 cant start den last resort is push start...

yeah , push start is the last resort... always remember , die die remember off ur fuel tap when parking..

How to push start? Simple..

 

1) Switch on ignition and turn on fuel supply.

2) Clutch in, engage to 2nd gear while maintaining the clutch in hand position.

3) Bike must be on the move at a considerable speed eg.

a) Using down slope

b) A friend of yours pushing the bike while the rider is mounting on it

c) By pushing the bike yourself from the side

4) Once u attain the speed, throw the clutch. By now ur bike engine is already making some sound. The sound is like as if ur engine is dying anytime soon. Trottle a bit until ur engine is running properly.

(3c not recomended for 1st timer because once ur engine is running follow by a slight delay to clutching in back to cut off the power, ur bike will juz run away from u Haha...Speaking from my own experience!)

 

5) If still cant work, try to open the choke in step 1 but dont forget to close it back oce u start riding on it.

6) For those with electric start vehicle, during step 4, while trottling a bit, at the same time just keep cranking it. Stop cranking once engine sound stop or else ur spark plug might get burnt.

 

Keep on repeating the cycle until u succeed. This is only applicable if ur battery is flat or not recharging while u were on the move..

 

This is only my personal understanding to share with those who are new in push start. If im wrong, pls correct me, if u guys dont understand what im trying to relay then pls forgive me.. Cause my 'England' is very the powderful..
