bros, normally which brand of 2T u all used?

to me it doesnt matter MUCH wat brand...wat does matter is da type of da 2t itself...but if u ask me, im using maxoil for my 4t n 2t (type: tcw3)... theres types of 2t dat we hav to bear in mind no matter what brand...some, just prefer to buy da most expensive one but expensive doesnt always means its good....

NMMA TC-W3 – two cycle water-cooled, third generation. TC-W3 obsoletes TC-W & TC-WII. Oils with this spec typically do not use metal based additives, and are ashless. This is an outboard specific spec.

API TC – only API spec established for two cycle engines. It regulates lubricity, detergency, ash content & pre-ignition. Oils with this spec are typically using metal based, ash producing additives.

JASO FA – original spec established regulating lubricity, detergency, initial torque, exhaust smoke, and exhaust system blocking. Now obsolete.

JASO FB – increased lubricity requirements over FA.

JASO FC – lubricity and initial torque requirements same as FB, however far higher detergency, exhaust smoke and exhaust system blocking requirements over FB.

JASO FD - same as FC with far higher detergency requirement.

ISO-L-EGB – same tests and requirements as JASO FB.

ISO-L-EGC – same tests and slightly higher detergency requirements (piston varnish) as JASO FC.

ISO-L-EGD – same tests and requirements as JASO FD

- National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is based in the USA.

- American Petroleum Institute (API) is based in the USA.

- Japanese Automobile Standards Organization (JASO) is based in Japan.

- International Standards Organization (ISO) is based in Europe.

there are arguments about using da tcw3 on bikes since its an outboard specific spec....but so far, there werent any problem since i use it...da jaso fc were also good...da 'biggest' difference when im using this 2t is da carbon produced...less carbon were found when i was checking da block...

btw, heres a little discussion by da malaysian forum'ers about 2t...its in malay...theres even a picture posted about da result of them using wat 2t they used...check it out...maybe theres some useful info to u - http://ridersmalaya.forumotion.com/workshop-motor-f3/2t4t-dan-petrol-pilihan-anda-t113.htm

He just doesn;t know how to reply tactfully..And his knowledge about 2 strokes are so very much from "hearsay"..And he keeps avoidin the questions being directed at him..:sian:
