i knw if sound bobok comes from the airbox, correct me if im wrong. but the problem comes from the valve not from the airbox.

if its not bobok den its really the valve motor den...

check the gears inside the valve motor. the teeth might be worn out. if this is da case den good for u cos its cheaper to change the gears den getting a new valve motor.

rajah shud be able to troubleshoot and rectify it. no worries bro...

been doin both my Ms since year 2001...

regardless of which bikeshop... PLS BRING SOMEONE WHO REALLY KNOWS ABOUT BIKES.

bike condition n pricing is da most important factor in buying a used bike.

u wouldnt wan to get chop and get a tzm which is like a warship, expensive and coe expiring...

seen too many impatient frens being conned by bikeshops.

so pls... do ur survey.

the gear also juz change, the valve shaft and also the 2 pulleys juz change as well...so u think is the valve motor? if it is then i think i need to save up money to buy the motor then.

MuzFico i think its the setting... because now my bike also like that... after the 7k rpm, the pick up is very fast right... just go back to him n ask again n again... sure they'll help... wandeeeeeeee... when u going jb..? oh ya, u coming for the makan on 21st..?

double check wit rajah regarding da valve motor.

if it really is da valve motor, auto machinery's selling for 200+ if i'm not wrong...

i juz went to auto machinery last week to buy the original cdi and i also ask them about the valve motor but they say out of stock. where else can i get in singapore? i got ask rajah and he say need to order first and its about RM550 but need to wait for few days i guess.

First-Ever Cross Threads Outing

 

Introduction:

It had always been a practice in sbf for each thread to organise their own outings and gatherings.

And it hit upon me that instead of keeping to one thread/one make of bike, why not widen our circles and meet riders of similar interest?

 

As a first attempt to organise a cross-threads outing, we are inviting riders of all make, types, classes of bikes, with the link posted in krr150, nsr150sp/rr, tzm150, cbr150, babymitto, rs125, r125, nsr250, rs250, babyblade, rvf400, gsxr400, zx4, m2b threads; covering most 2b/a sportsbikes.

 

Main objective of this gathering/outing is for riders of different threads to meet each other, widening friendships, and have fun! =)

 

Althought link is posted only in above mentioned threads, feel free to invite friends who are riding other bikes as well.

 

Once again emphasizing this is an open-to-all-bikes event.

Date: 18th April 2009

Time: 2200 HRS onwards

Venue: TBA

Duration: 2-4 Hours (free to go/join at any point of time)

 

Destinations:

 

From past experiences, we decided to keep exact locations unknown to all first.

 

Activities would be late dinner/supper, followed by riding to a nice scenic popular hangout for couples, before punching card at that well know place for engines.

It will be on a saturday's night, and we will be expecting quite a big turn-up. Thus all hot-spots would be avoided, in our routes and destinations. Time on hot-roads will be minimized. Special parking place will be allocated. To minimize risk, card-punching would be the last destination; as late as possible.
