im not sure with this. coz standard look is the best =).

r6 tail can do at JB. Singapore is Super EX. Try First Motor at ubi. Dont be surprise of the price quoted =)

 

Stock look is the best as it is unique to me. Couldn't agree more.

does TZM have any power cut?my RPM cant seem to go above 11..is that normal?or is there something that could boost the RPM to 13?thanks in advance everyone..:)

 

"Racing" cdi usually does not have the RPM limiter like the stock one. You could buy one (racing cdi) and try yourself, even i am not too sure. Stock is good enough, the rest is all about setting.

why u want to go past 11 ? over-rev is bad. yeah if u really want. Racing CDI will solve ure problem.

i dont think Racing CDI last long though =D

Thanks brothers..that solved my curiosity..I was actually looking at youtube videos..and theres this TZM the RPM went to 13..I thought it was cool..hehe..sorry about newbie-ness..any ideas on how to clear the speedometer?currently im running 47-15 sprocket ratio..i could only get top at 140km/h with RPM at 11..any suggestions on how to be able to go more than 140?im thinking of changing sprocket size..to maybe 46 or 45...would that help?thanks bros...you all rock!!

I using 15-45. Tip-top standard bike shouldnt have problem reaching 180km. Can even reach 200 actually.

To clear your speedometer, your bike should be at a tip top condition. It's not just about the cdi, the setting of your bike plays an important part too. I am on 15f - 43r (sprockets), not really liking it though, wanna drop to 42 on the rear, need the valve to open only when i need it. You could try 43 - 45 for your rear sprocket.

Yeah i think so too. With 16 in front, the ratio becomes 2.68. Up hill have to down to gear 5 but im liking the straights. No vibrations at 110kmh.

Guys, i got a problem. Last night while riding, my bike shut down on me, best part is, it was 2am. I opened up my bike (on the spot) but didn't see any signs of overflow on the sparkplug or top block/sparkplug hole. What is weird is that the bike starts normally after 1 or 2 kicks BUT it cannot stable it self when idling. Opened up the bike again, checked the carb, nothing's wrong.

 

Even if i were to set the idling screw to its maximum, after some time it'd shut itself down. While riding, it feels like it's something like it's suffocating. Jetting sizes are 210 & 30, had no problems before this. Only after last nights event. Any ideas? CDI maybe?

Gasket leaking, coolant flowed into block and piston seized. Fukk~

Wahhh. My last breakdown same as wat u mention. Still can start but cant idle for long. I change plug and its back to normal:p heng neva kena like u. But how come gasket can leak .

Because it was low quality gaskets. Funky orange and yellow colored ones. The smaller one was folded/stretched. Sedih siak~

It applies only when the rider gets to see what the mech installs into his/her bike.

 

Left it at shop for 1 day, felt so helpless man. If it happened to you, you still got your X1R to ride yea?
