Class 2B ☑ Passed on the 10th December 2009 (1st attempt)

hi anyone can tell me the average price of a TZM?

 

Won't exceed 3k la, even for a mint condition one, which is next to impossible.

Tu valve tak salah aku adjust the exhaust port size, widening the power delivery to all rev ranges. Kalau PV always open, aku dengar below 6-7k rpm takde power where the powerband is in. Kalau always closed, 6-7k rpm takde kick.

 

High rev while but PV cannot open means you're stressing the valve ngan create excess heat, imagine piston making lots of exhaust but exhaust not going out fast enough.

 

Aku bukan nyer tau sangat, ni semue theory je, maybe TZM pros leh bilang kau more in detail.

the chances of piston jamming due to valve not opening is near to inexistence coz when ur pv not open u wont really be able to go high rev much and when u manage also wont have much power cause the backpressure timing is wrong. so no kick. i rode with my power valve closed for quite a long while and noting happened except no kick when whack high ah. from idle to around 8 very fast rev when closed. but above 8 very very slow smtimes cant even go up. in some countried the powervalved is sold closed. cause their learner licence is cannot use full power bike with the powervalve opening. when they can ride ride for a year with the pv closed all the way and not jam, i dun understand why it should jam in our condition.

Hmm cuz so far only hear stories la, PV never open can jam, prolly because the ori PVs were 2 sets, easy to break in half, can fall into the piston.

why u like to keep your pv closed? not shiok right if whack~, but is it because u want ur pv to last longer..? or u want save petrol..? xD

also in what ways can our pv 1) get stucked and 2) break into half? i heard these stories before :)

Unlikely la new type PV break into two, its one solid piece now.

got diff types of valve ah?

mine ori sey, two piece valve. heard local is e one piece valve.

Almost impossible to find 2 piece valve now bro. Rare liao.

 

Yah local one one piece, they made it one piece because the 2 piece one had a tendency to break hence the stories of valve being broken.

 

Never saw it for myself before, hear its more powerful etc etc but dunno for sure.

TZM bros.. wad are the pros and cons of using a wr200 block/piston? more powerful for sure.. but muz change carb oso? and 4t muz change more frequently, easier piston jam or etc.. please enlighten me. like wad to take note or wad else muz change if change to wr2 block/piston. cos i wanna change block n piston soon.. thanks a lot...

ill let the seniors to ans that ques. for me dun try stupid things change wr things. tzm with stock condition power already.

 

100% PERCENT FOR SURE AGREE WITH U BRO eastin..hmm u feel ur tzm not power enough..change high speed engine bearing..chamber pipe..front and rear 90/80 tyre size..get a good mechanic to set ur carb and spocket setting for ur comfort..tats enough....simple modi for better performance..do tis if u really got tuhe guts to face TP..otherwise dun try tis at home..hahaha..u no need to change bigger carb..bigger block and all teh bigger etc..the more bigger u grow the more lazy u ar.. hahaha..dont do those funny funny stuff..u goin to waste ur money and time...

aper nyer soalan cepu emas kau tanya da.??dah kalau valve to rosak memang la rosak..melainkan valve kau tak main disebabkan pulley cair..cable putus atau servo sampai hajal..kalau valve dah patah semua benda pun tak fungsi..hehe

valve tak kena mengena ngan piston at all la...aikz takkan tangan patah tapi kaki tak leh jalan..haha..valve kau rosak..motor kau takkan melebihi 60kmh,,,so cam kura kura la motor kau..tu jer..bukan piston yang stress..rider yang stress sebab moto tak laju..haha..ia takkan babitkan piston jam..hehe..tapi ingat kalau valve kau patah time kau ngah rembat motor kau high speed dan valve pecah cam keropok..serpihan dia leh buat motor kau jam ..boleh kasi jahanamkan block juge..hehe..tapi kes gini cuma dalam 2 of 100 bikes happen to be..

aiyaa bro ..i think u all seriously too confuse i guess..2 piece valve is the first model tzm of year 1994-1999 use tis valve..those single solid one piece valve is for the millenium model bike which come out on year 2000-200+..2pieces valve not easy to broke but the screw between the 2 pieces easy loosen...tat valve can turn 1 full round..tats y not easy to jam and broke..if single piece valve which all of u using now not able to turn one full round..half turn oni..will break if u ride ur bike like one cuckoo ...for short distance also force to open valve..high rev ride out of sudden close throtlle just like tat.no proper ending..tis will coz ur servo and valve wont respond properLy..clash.. which coz to valve patah..one more thing 2 piece valve is better..powerful..lasting and fast respond compare to 1 piece..those using to piece can say ur lucky to have tat..take care it....advise for all tzmers..if u dun wann to get trouble with ur valve., make sure u service ur valve every month..its goin to cos bot 15-30 ringgit oni...do top servicing ..block.head..carb every 6 months..coz u bout 250 ringgit...use good 2t and 4t oil..go for MOTUL..2T MOTUL 510..13 DOLLAR..4T MOTUL 5100..17 DOLLAR...

2 reason i can guees..first he might be a SAFETY RIDER who wont ride 60kmh below..2nd reason after his valve broken and got no monet to change for new one so he ride with closed valve..hehehe..which one happen bro DRAKSTER..??hahaha
