hmm 3 valve in a year.?????..crazy ah bro u..hehe...okie the best thing u go to auto machinery rowell rd buy power valve original japan..pulley and boosh left right cable..then u fix it shop..dun every buy power valve at bike shop..coz they usual install thai made and charge u original price..then u see how..dun worry bout how u whack the bike..just dun sudden close throttlle when speeding and last minute braking..another thing make sure every month u service ur valve...servicing valve usually cost bout 20 dollar oni...tats enough too maintain ur powervalve.. i use one power valve atleast 2 years...12 years riding tzm never been cross valve broken prob..hehe

 

yes serious bro 3 times within a year i damn headache.. btw the rowell road can u gimme the exact address and estimated price? if nt i evry 4 month change valve i buay dahan sia.. haha.. anyway thx for ur advices, appreciate it.. i got a lot to learn bout tzm!

any bros here got any tips on maintaining and extending the lifespan of TZM's YPVS powervalve? Besides, not whacking the bike so often... mine has spoilt/jam/broke into 2 pieces 3 times in a year, its really a big headache. thx in advance..

 

Never encountered a broken valve before, popped valve cover and servo cover have, yours truly but that piece of metal in half? Probably the way u ride la, cold start straight away full throttle, got chance the sudden change in temperature and pressure snapped the thing.

isit? mine really break into 2 peices nicely sia. haha.. yea sometimes i cold start straight away whack cos no time to warm up rushing to camp haha.. anyway wad dey mean by dun sudden close throttle when speeding? like hw does this work and do any damage to the valve? and wad's the right way to close throttle haha... some1 pls enlighten me.. haha thanks

Most probably your valve was local... Not original... I encountered it before myself so I know... Now my valve has no problem stock original and used it for one year... Condition 9.5/10 due to alot of carbon surrounding the valve... For sale at $50(neg)...

high speed or high gear when ur ypvs system open n u wanna slow down before u wanna close throttle just short rev(blow) twice

Dunno abt Japan, TZMs have always been a Thai made product so I dunno how come got ori made in Japan stuff for TZMs, if you're talking TZRs, WRs then different.

Got made in Japan valve but every other stuff is Thai made?
