Even if I wan to buy yr bike I still have to change cos going up Thailand arh... Dun wan halfway tyre puncture or coolant burst or chain fly out. So just change everything loh....

FYI

 

Our petrol stops will be as followed.

 

1.Ayer keroh R & R (205Km) 160km interval to rawang.

 

2. Rawang R & R (365km) 180km interval to SG. Perak.

 

3.SG Perak R & R (545Km) 170km interval to Gurun.

 

4 Gurun R & R (715km) 75km interval to Bukit kayu hitam

 

5.Bukit Kayu Hitam (790km) >>>>

 

Hatyai (888km).

Hi guys and gals..beside the bike precheck,here is a list of basic items to prepare yourself for your trip to hatyai.

 

 

-Passport with 6mths validity

 

-2 pcs of white card,(one enter via sg,one enter via thai)

 

-Log letter/card bearing your name,If u r not the owner,pls obtain a authorisation letter fro the owner.

 

-touring jacket/jeans,rain jacket and pants

 

- Full face helmet or half face helmet

 

- Gloves

 

-touring boots or waterproof covered shoes

 

-set of tyre repair kit

 

-organiser(racingter and roywong13) mobile number

 

-autoroaming mobile line

 

-ringgit,sg dollars(thai baht can be changed in hatyai)

 

-maps or GPS (if any)

 

-ziplock/waterproof all your electronic devices/bags

 

-spare bike key

 

-Cashcard

 

-locks for your bike

things to take note.

 

-enough sleep of 7 hrs (at least)

 

-no need to bring ic(we have passport)

 

-just bring 1 or 2 credit card( incase lost of wallet)

 

-try to minimise "great exposure" on our way to hatyai in NSHW remember the "4 fast" (act fast,react fast,move off fast,get out of the situation fast)

 

-Organiser(s) have the final say of all disputes.

yes, s4 is hot bike esp verS. make sure tat ur bike hav enough coolant in the reservoir.

 

any coolant will do but engine ice is a bonus if u hav spare cash to boil.

bring some premixed coolant along the trip if u can. LAB sell castrol coolant (premixed) in 0.5L bottle, handy yet enuff for minor top-ups if necessary.
