i got a 2nd hand kawa.. last week i just drain off and chain engine oil to motul 4t and 2t too.. sparkplug had being changed.. after some time when on the road i close trottle, there is sound like the piston is knocking only when slowing down.. when went to mechanic they ask to change the piston rings.. is that true.. help thank.. :cry:

what will be happened if really got that "ting ting" sound? becuz my kawasaki 150 also sound like that when i close or open throttle... but the sound is not tong tong to me (maybe my hearing problem..)

i just get my bike 3 week ago, problems come out so fast???

and the "ting ting" sound are come from somewhere around my "Left footrest" there..

kawasaki kr150 huh. go to kr thread ask, ting ting sound from block huh or stomach? if change piston ring=top overhaul

check whether ur chain loose anot..or is it hitting sumting wen travelling..

ya.. i asked the mech and he tell me that is the chain loose.. thank for helping. :)

hey eveybody i noe what is my probem just wanna share with u all .. my coolent water is empty .. making the piston warm up and rubbing.. so piston and block change and gasket change making the bike as good as new. :)

block, piston, gasket is $425. 2nd hand somemore.. not much damage jus that bike cant start at all..

btw.. u cant jus change piston ring just lidat.. u got to change the piston together.. hahas =)

 

if u r budget wise.. pls go jb to do.. u can save up alot money.. but of cos at ur own risk.. and hw much u trust the mechanics there.. =)

 

 

overall jb is cheap n good(not really tat good..)

nop. he show me my block got scraches inside and some burnt mark on the top .. i not sure too ..

 

dat one can polish one.. lols.. but like wat u've done, get a new block den up to u lo.. cus if u wanna go for tip top, den change.. but ur block so cheap? 2nd hand??? u got check?? or they tak ur old one go polish den say is 2nd hand new block.. lols.. anw, u happi den its okay (= rmb 2t and EO ahh.. impt.. cheers!
