Beware Of Chain Bike Shop at Jalan bukit merah

(A) Shop change my engine oil open wrong hole coz my bike got 2 hole

now my bike leaking oil casket

total about 5 bottles of engine oil in my bike

they do not hold responsibility to it.

i went to planet at ubi found about 5 bottles of engine oil flow out

(A) only offer to change engine oil and clean up my bike for free.

My spark plug new 1 how?

 

1) bike got 2 hole, open wrong hole den gasket leaking. no link leh bro.

2) wat bike need 5 bottles engine oil?

3) engine oil flow out meaning u travel to planet with no engine oil?

4) wat has your spark plug got to do in this case?

 

(B) Shop Change spoket and chain

Chain keep making noise, on the left footpad 60 to 100km/hr

Told them about the problem

they don't care say it normal later wear & tear no more noise.

 

1) do you know e normal standard "slag" for chain?

2) name of mechanic

 

my question is to know more before saying anything further...

Mech open wrong hole so still balance maybe 2 & 1/2 bot of engine oil inside bike than new engine oil being put in total how much ????????????????????

 

Problem is i don't know got so much oil in my bike.

i looking for a oil tube coz my oil tube leaking oil

(A) Shop run out of stock so my frenz say planet have stock.

somehow discovered the large amount of oil.

 

Open up the whole bike inside all oil "EXPLORE"

Wash & Change many parts

 

Somemore the boss say if got so many oil the bike sure cannot start

i challanges him i buy 5 bot from you now put inside my bike i can start and ride 120km/hr how?

In the end he give me free engine oil.

 

At planet the mech help me take out all the oil than put back the right amount of oil inside the engine,understand?

 

For the spoket & chain i buy at (B) they don't care about the noise.

Actually the chain is hitting the left footpad causing noise & tick tick sound on the footpad.

 

how to solve the problem?

i stay near bukit merah so i alway visit them.

 

Shop A & B same at bukit merah.

 

FYI i visit Shop (A) for more than 7 year

 

They did something wrong to my bike now they don't hold responsibility.

 

 

 

Hmmm...not really sure about the bike ur riding man..maybe can tell us what bike ur riding...

 

coz as for me when i went to certain shop in bukit merah with my previous triumph bike back then i always tell them how to do the things i need to change on my bike...ya well i have to admit i got f@#$ sum times by them but it doesnt mean i dont trust them to do their job..just merely being xtra careful wif my bike tts all...im doing my part to let them noe...coz sumtimes they maybe a skilled mech but doesnt mean they noe how to do up all the bikes in the world.....

 

i'm not afraid to say the shop in bukit merah i've been to are HKL/Racewerks/LeongSeng....the shop tt f me up is HKL but at the end of the day i explain to them on y i'm very skeptical and they understood...From then on, we can get along not very well but gd enough for them to know my bike needs n treat me as a genuine customer each time i went there when they have what i need....

 

I have personally encountered stuck up bikers at many shops who treat some of these mechs like slaves e.g first ask change e.o then after that say change sprocket n chain then wen everyth done say want to change spark plug...these are the kind of riders i find like f up..on other occasion i see them talking like as if they can afford a ducati but end up asking for $5 discount on a $18 engine oil (riding a 2b bike).. These are some out of the many things i have experienced..can list more if u want...

 

sometimes its not only their job to make our trip there a pleasant one, it also takes us to treat them pleasantly like a friend n not like slaves to make the whole trip there great.

 

if the shops at bukit merah doesnt suit ur needs then can always go further abit...unique motorsport/motorworld/wing yap etc. are some of the best places i've surveyed n been to so far...

i take my company bike intend to change pump kit and tyre

Got 1 particular shop want to rape & molest & kill the bike

 

#$%^@# Them

 

They quo me $350 for changing pump kit the big metal thing got brake oil and 2 new tyre

 

My 1 tyre is still new.

 

i want to change pump kit and 1 tyre ONLY

 

i went to shop (B) Change less than $200

 

So 2 day later i went to shop (B) to change my chain & spoket

My own bike

Never did i expect them to be so !@#$%$#

i am newbie as a rider, it so happen that i buy my bike there in bukit merah 2 weeks ago..

though u never mention the name of the shop. i think the shop where i bought my bike has the same problem with their mechanic...

to make this short, if u really unpleased with their service, change another bike shop.

 

if mech does a mistake when servicing, raise it up on e spot & approach to look for boss.

 

if u can make a hoo haa at planet, i'm sure u can also at e "shop"

 

if u stand at side but mech do wrong & u nvr ask nor raise, wats ur purpose to stand beside?

 

ur chain & sprocket got sounds cos maybe its too loose, go back to e shop & rectify.

 

if all else fails, change to another shop. forumers here gave other option which they are comfortable with. might be e same for u...

 

uchiha was saying that some mech eventhough work for very long, they wouldn't care cos its not their bike...

 

lastly, who says u got mention shop name???

they have 12 branches inside Jalan bukit merah.

when he install the bracket for the box, he dont mind even he sees that there are lots of scratches created by his tools...

 

i told him to have an extra care for my bike coz it's only a 2 week bike...that's the time he used and put the oily rug/newspaper to avoid more scratch...

all i can say is, although i stay very near to bukit merah, i dun bother going there, except for racewerks to do emergency repairs.

 

had very bad experience with HKL when i was still riding my S4 and swear never to go back there again.

Secondly you have an issue with any shop, do raise it up to the boss officially. Creating a thread to warn bikers but without proper explanation of what happens does not serve any purpose. The problem might be due to mis-communication and would appreciate the provision of actual facts to support what you posted.
