hi @kianSV, one more question would like to ask you. Did you adjust only the lens or the mounting attached to your helmet? as compared between first and second video, the view in second video seems to have an unobstructed view which i wanted.

lots of people selling the older generation GoPros now that gen 3 is out. you can take a look at those. they are hardy as hell.. there's a youtube video of one falling from 20,000ft from a skydiver's helmet. And it survivied the landing and was still working.

adjusted 2 things

- lens alignment so that the lens is parallel to the ground. this is easily done by twisting the lens angle found on most cams. stuff looks more horizontal now

- tilted the base of the mount slightly upwards n forward. this is done by forcefully pushing the base which i dont recommend. bobian as its perm fixed already. so advice is to trial n error by blutack/cleartape first.

thanks for the advice :) from the website, the package itself should include 2 mounts. i believe you used the fixed mount? the other one would be the rotating round mount which i will be using as i will need to adjust the postion more that you for sure and thanks for the steps in ordering the camera. mine is on its way. cant wait to try it. i agree with you that comgateway service is great !

I have a question, lets say an accident happen and the licence number cannot be seen in the video, will it affect my insurance or anything? can the video be used as a 'witness' to prove that i am innocent?

If hit and run and no evidence at all in regards to the vehicle tat hit u, then unless engage private investigation, else cry. If the vehicle is still there to either assist u or watever reasons and in the video without number plate, can identify tat the vehicle is the same 1 tat is there, then is ok lo. I think.

hi guys, i'm just wondering. How do you guys actually take a snapshot when your camera is inconveniently placed?

I have a Gopro, but i am wondering how to take a shot, on/off safely. I don't want to get the expensive wireless one.

Thanks

The best is to use VLC player. It can skip frame by frame and 1 button snapshot.
