Sad that there's such unfair traders around. Should report such errand motordiams to CASE. Guess we just have to be more alert and ask around in bike forums more. =)

eh bros, any1 know where to get the spec3 headlight black housing? the bowl like thingy? The component list shows only got the headlight chrome part leh? any1 got idea?

i using rp 20w-50 oso leh (not max-cycle), just did 1000km wif no problems, will continue if it can tahan til next oil change

Every 6 months or so. I based on time rather than mileage cos I always travel overseas. My previous Ver S I owned it for 18 months and ride only about 6000km but it had more than 5 oil change.

The spec 2 I have now I owned it for 5 months but only ride about 2000km I guess when I come back is time for a oil change again.

one advantage of having cheaper EO is tt change interval can be shortened ($10.50/btl for RP nia).

 

theres always this argument tt the cheap RP spoils the clutch, lots of rumours and reports ard (including from the mechs from planet, who related them when i brought the EO there).

 

but since they are stories, w/o any real proof (at least not yet), the best thing is to test them myself loh, so far, its still smooth going for my bike, nothing wrong wif my clutch too.

if it can last til nov, then i wld have found myself a cheap source of gd EO liao.

 

anyway those who oso use max-cycle, heard tt the price for it is going up due to the increasing crude oil price. Tai Hee Electric at tanjong pagar not bringing them in, anyone know of any other sources? I scared they will cut their supply of cheap RP oso.

For me I only put my carbs in the trust of K&T only... from CBR400 to wave kia to now Spec2.. Tell me other shop cheaper oso I wun go.. heh heh..
