hi, any1 noes where can get steering damper for vtec 1???? went to chong aik at desker rd, was told that they dun bring in anymore!!!!

Ride safe, or else urs will be the one I'm looking at, at work!!!! :cool:

Just change my front tyre to M1 for $120 + Balancing @Unity

Honda NSR150 SP : Feb 04 - Feb 05

Honda CB400 Spec II : Jun 05 - Jan 08

Nissan Latio : Feb 08 - ???

I change my rear in April, forget the price already...

 

Think it shld be ard $150 to $170 with balancing

Hello... me newbie in this forum..

I'm ridin a spec 3.. n i may hav to charge my tyres soon.. was looking at past updates so wanted to ask 2 qns..

qn 1: where the hell is HKL n

qn 2: is the bridgestones BT090 front n rear tyres still at $210...

any kind soul...please advice thanks...

ohhh ok.. well i am juz a normal road biker.. dun speed dun corner hahah.. i mean in singapore with all those camera zone and speed limit... it sucks man...n i dun usually ride more than 120 km/h safety first =) so wat type of tyres do u guys advice n around how much coz my neighbour (ex biker) said tyre price seems to have gone up..

agree bro ......by far, alot of comments from all the bro is that metzzler is really good for all the cornering due to it's soft material but also to compensate for that , it wears out faster .................:smile:

soft tyre = good for cornering=warm up faster=wear out faster

harder tyres=not as good for cornering=doesn't warm up that fast =dunt wear out that fast also

4x castrol power1 = $88

4x ngk spark plugs = $40

oil filter = $15

knn air filter = $75

 

at HKL

went to soon loi shop at yishun (louis) last weekend

1) mobil 1 EO - $22/btl

2) k&n air filter - $75

3) k&n oil filter - $22

 

just a qns, issit better to change to k&n oil filter or just use the original oil filter for spec 3?

For me, i feel that a original oil filter is good enuff.

Oh finally i changed my tyres ...as you guys had recommended Metzzler sportec M-1.. MY Bike shop guy also recommended me that saying its better for rainy weather as compared to Bridgestone..

Cost me $280 for front n rear tyres. at HL Cycle kembangan there.. should be a good price rite..? definately riding feel better oredi..

I've been using Sportec M1 for the last 5 mths and I'm very happy with it. Good grip during corners and wet roads. But still ...pls ride safely during wet days. Only set back is the tyres are very slippery on wet metal surfaces, think all tyres are like that. Nearly fall going up the car park at Far East Plaza.
