What is LTA css doing?

Hey guys, i've JUST received my LTA letter saying i pass ERP without cashcard. Then they ask me to pay by 16 May 2009, i only receive now nia. Actually can pay $8.50 now jump to $70. Now i very confused because..

 

1 - 1st customer service staff told me that i just go down LTA pay $10.50 can already.

 

2 - I called again to ask where exactly is LTA, the customer service staff ask me what fine im paying so i tell her. Then she tell me i need to appeal? ??

 

Please someone guide me. $70 very chor man. Im just a student who needs his bike to go to school and work. ):

you want to avoid paying more for the summon, just call up LTA and explain your case.

Juz go down to LTA and explain your case, I am sure the letter have a postage date. That may help.

I only received the letter yesterday night. Then bomb 16th may deadline. My fault? I only ask if there is any other way i can avoid paying the $70. I dont people to say i whine here whine there, dont need people to flame also.

1) wah lau fellow bikers, dont flame each other la... make bikes, not war.

 

2) evoscythe, u mean u forgot to insert cashcard and pass thru gantry ah? everytime i see 1 bloody ERP gantry staring at me, my heart will skip a beat and i make sure i got cash card in the IU. well like fellow forumers have mentioned, u can either speak to ur MP or go down to LTA direct. worst come to worst, take it as an expensive lesson learnt. be aware of ERP timings and have ur cashcard ready.

still dun pay the $70 by dateline, then wait for heavy fine and go court.

 

my last advise for you, if you pissed off by people's replies to ask you go LTA, then even if you go appeal there also no use, cos ur tone and manners wun get you anywhere off. the IO will jus ask you pay $70 since you got no patience and manners to talk properly.

Hey people, im really very sorry about what happen. Im earning a modest $350+ per month and i still need to pay for my installments. $70 to me is very dear and i can eat for 1 week+.

 

Besides i really had a bad day.

 

Once again i shall apologise sincerely to you all. Really sorry.

my uncle company also kana... so i write the appeal letter... 2 letter de. $140 oh gosh...

 

he said LTA never send the 1st letter which would only need to pay $10...
