castrol but the technical-nut me does not remember the vicoscity (i dunno how to spell this word :lol: )

bro, have you done your 1k servicing? its funny and maybe its mental, i just change the oil for my fly, now it seem easier to hit 110kmh now...

 

nope bro, no servicing done yet. I was told to do it when mileage hits 1000k, but now mileage on bike only 500k... haha, may have to wait a while more.

 

not sure what viscosity engine oil to use, but manual recommend SAE 5W-40 synthetic oil. So i guess whatever brand is not important, but the viscosity should try to match those recommended by manufacturer.

 

i've been told by bike shop to ride not exceeding 90km/h during this break-in period, maybe i'll try 100km/h after my servicing.

I had it fitted anyways. For others who fitted the top case, do you notice the gaping hole just above the tail light? Any way to cover it up? It is exposed since the hand grab has to be removed for the rack.

hi benz, how's yr fly 150? So far any feedback?

 

Me planning to get this bike next month. Saw the white one, really nice. Anything need to check before purchase the bike? Where do u bought yr bike?

 

By the way, where do u install yr IU units?

hi bro,

apologise for the late reply, me got the bike from wym. nothing really big to look out for since its new...but...

 

i thought the battery might be an issue. Unfortunately, today as i was riding halfway, the bike just stalled on me, everything just stop working.

 

Pulled over to the side, checked everything, headlights working, other lights not working, horn also not working. Cannot crank at all...sigh...

 

got the recovery truck to pick it up and send back to piaggio for a checkup, hope it will be ready soon.

Wow..sounds scary...especially if you were on the highway.. did you find out what happened to it ?

machine price is quite standard. quoted by Piaggio Spore: $3400.

the rest of the items should be insurance, road tax, registration, erp iu, coe....

Hi guys, my first time posting in scooter thread. I kinda of like this bike but got a very bad review by someone who said this bike has many problems...so I wanna ask in this thread if those ridding this bike or those who have read or know if there is any issue with this bike.

 

Dun flame me, just wanna ask for feedback before getting this as I wanna use this as a 2nd bike to travel day to day. Thanks.

well this bike is very "plastic".... include the rim, pipe, and the WHOLE body structure.

 

I rather get a honda wave than this....

Just collected my Fly150 in white yesterday so i tink i shld be ables to provide some realtime quotation on the OTR..:angel:

 

So far so good and enjoying back to scootering again..den again its wad u get for wad u pay..and agreed wif all the abovementioned replies on the power wise,etc..

 

Now im starting to believe in transparency on bikeshop during the sale of my Fly150..from the OTR breakdown to registration to collection of bike..everything was nice & good..

 

Well not b4 when i was penalised(another shop) whopping $800+ for a prematured loan tenure :dot::dot::dot:

 

Nice bike,Piaggio Fly150..loved the cuteness and all :thumb:

ive bought it from ASPhoon Ubi..

excellent service & transparency on the purchase..

 

irs basically $4800+Insurance to be OTR..(based on my $931) COE so pricing go up & down abit based on the prevailing COE..

 

However,after installing my original topbox(Yes! its colour matching:cheers: ) ive realised the front do hops abit(or was it wobbling)..ive even stood up abit to watch the front fender while riding @ abt 70kmph and saw the front fender in mild flapping motion..

 

And oso there's a rattling sound on the left side of the engine..i noe it definitely dun sound normal so gotta call brother Brembo to fix appointment,better get it check by the pro's @ ADH :thumb::thumb:

 

A lil sad thing is that cant put bar end balancer(X9 type) as the Fly150 bar is consealed w/o threadings..datz abit sad thou..
