Halfway my Fi lite comeout.No need to say la...its 25 blinks(knock sensor)

 

The stem valve was broken due to wear and tear as mine is not those angle valve.Suggest changed to those angle valve ones.

Never fixed the blinking lights on the valve stem as i suspect it also contribute to the breakage during the high runs as the thing is heavy.

So thats my story during the weekend.

Gotta pump S'pore gas to cleaned up the injectors.Sianz!!!!!!....25 blinks again!

 

mEch suggest that kalau mampu biler tukar tayar,tukar stem valvenye skali,unless u have the angle valve as mine was the old rubber valve._________________

 

Wah...ni macam kena buat leak and tyre pressure check whenever service moto...

 

btw, i guess u using BurungHitam with EFI. Does Mlysian petrol will affect other EFI bikes oso?

Last Sat morning,my wife suggest we ride to Ayer Keroh for A&W.SInce it been a long time we went there by driving,i say y not try on the bike.So set at 11 am,pump full tank at Shell and off we went.Travelling speed range from 150 to 240km/h.Halfway thru Pagoh my rear tyre starts to slide in a funny way.SO went to the side and to my horror.My tyre went dead flat.Try to look for nail or something but unable to detect it.Luckily there was a S'pore registered tow truck on the way to pick up 3 bike at Malacca due to an accident.The driver point out to me saying my stem valve was broken.Bopien,had them tow us to the nearest motoshop at Pagoh.Kena $100 for tow and RM$18 for new stem valve.

Continued our journey to the restaurant...Mak kau!!!!...raining non-stop.eat for 40 mins and continued the ride home.top up full tank at Caltex.All the way rain like theres no tomorrow.Visibilty....Zero! travelling ard 100km/h,visor fogging up badly,can't even flip up the visor cos the raindrop like marbles.

Good thing my wife is steady.lucky me.Halfway my Fi lite comeout.No need to say la...its 25 blinks(knock sensor).Have to reach S'pore by 6 as we need to fetch the kidz from mosque as they are having religious classes.Due to the rain and tyre thing,managed to reached S'pore by 6.30 pm.Lucky the custom is not jammed during that period.

 

 

Total mileage to and fro = 480km

Tow and fixing the stem valve =$100 + RM 18/-

A&W makan = RM 23/-

Petrol = RM55/-

Verdict - Most expansive fast food!

Yup.EFI model.

Time pegi takde FI lite kluar.top up pat Ayer keroh nyer Caltex.Halfway balik trus kluar.....boring siak...Last year balik dari Sepang pon kluar...takes time for the Fi lite to clear.Fuel delivery seems to be sluggish.

 

So skarang main top up S'pore petrol jer...buat cuci injector.

Mebbe due to the heavy rain which can also contribute to this Fi lite thingy

luck is on your side coz based on 150-240km/h range, any damage to the tyres can have immediate impact ~ meaning lesser reaction time

 

and again lady luck strikes again when there is SG-plate tow-truck is on its way to Malacca

 

gez ur experience (after so many years of riding) did play an important role ~ able to feel the tyre slide in a funny way

 

verdict of having the most expensive fast food (as you claimed) is nothing compared to 2 saved lives. instead we should be glad that you can still fetch your kids from the mosque

 

thanks for sharing your story, bro....in some ways, it has proven maintenance (of a bike) is something we cant afford to miss. pls dun take it for granted.

few member aku yang ride blackbird (one FT and one FU)....pun selalu kena ni problem ~ lampu FI kadang2 keluar. best part is it will disappear by itself

 

based on aku nya experience riding a suzuki bike, i gez the system is much solid on this FI. once lampu dia keluar, it will maintain until u send the bike to the workshop. kalau suzuki, tak payah cakap saper guru (bukan nick sebenar GuruMachaz) dia la ~ Meng Tong jugak aku carik (kadang2 sampai setengah hari dia rectify the issue ~ connect to ECU to find the fault code, lepas tu bukak bible suzuki to locate the faulty part lepas tu togelkan motor aku to change the faulty part)

 

morale of the story.....bukan nak compare which bike or mechanic is better tapi nampak gaya, motor kau need some TLC (tender loving care), esp on those injectors (wear & tear pat situ hanya motor kau saje yang tahu).

 

bole aku tanya skit ~ what exactly does the 25 blink mean?

 

coz aku paham benar betapa tak seronoknya kalau tu lampu FI da keluar.....da la jtu iwa tak tenteram, nak perah tu throttle pun jadi takut dibuatnya.
