Somali centenarian weds 17-year-old

 

MOGADISHU (AFP) - – A man claiming to be 112 married a 17-year-old at a ceremony in central Somalia, his sixth wedding in total but his first in three quarters of a century, he said Thursday.

 

"My wife is ten times younger than me but we love each other so much and I believe that I can give her the kind of love that not any young man can offer," Ahmed Mohamed Dhore told AFP.

 

"Married life is about love and passion rather than age and beauty," said the centenarian, whose wedding ceremony in the town of Guriel was attended by hundreds on Wednesday.

 

"The first time I got married was so long ago I cannot remember and the last time must have been about 75 years ago, I was still a young man," he said.

 

Dhore would have already been an adult when the nationalist leader "Mad Mullah," Mohammed Abdullah Hassan, who fought the British empire and created the Dervish state died in 1920.

 

He said the secret to a longevity spanning three different centuries was "healthy food when he was young".

 

"I'm 112 and can live the life of a youngster... The idea to get married again came from my children and grand-children," he said, explaining that his only other surviving wife was 90 and ailing.

 

According to statistics by international aid and development agencies, the average life expectancy of a Somali male is 47.

I'm riding the FZ1-N... Checked Micron website; showed that they had the GP style endcan for 2006.

 

Was told by Unique Motor; Micron no longer manufacture exhaust for motorcycles.........tak paham:?...tak paham:?....tak paham:?......

According to Steve Larson, customer support head for Annitori Distributing, former importer of Micron Exhaust, the pipe company has liquidated all their assets. Final bids were due in mid-August, just as this issue of MI went to press. Larson told MI they had been importing the brand since the early ‘90s and Annitori’s contract was due to expire the end of September. The distributor stated they had been pulling away from exhausts for the last two years. Apparently, Micron was slow to adapt to market conditions and trends

i best suggest that u to analyse wat u really want from the bike, more top-end? mid-range? bottom punch? or combos or etc.... wif these in mind then search for the pipe n combinations of parts n accesories that will do justice to ur needs.....

Different make got different purpose, some give better mid-range but no top-end.... this is juz an example.... n some accesories need to be accompined by other parts, for eg. its always best to fix a pc unit if u r changing full-system.....

 

Jgn main beli je tanpa tahu wats the purpose, wrong setting or set-up will do more damage to the bike, not to mention ur pocket also.... gd luck

normally, if u just fix a slip-on, nothing much needs to be adjusted.. that's normally... kekadang u'll come across that just don't fit the normally tag.. full system is another matter..

 

skrang ni kiter ader 1 members baru jugak tukar slip-on pipe for his bike.. the bike's top speed drops when tested out with new slip-ons.. his stock gives out better top speed.. True, there could be other factors that "kacau" his top speed.. but then again, rule of thumb is, it's always the last thing that was installed...

 

but then..choose a pipe that u like to see on ur bike.. afterall it's ur bike, ur choice... no one can take that away from you unless.......
