hi, yap i'm also into getting a paddock stand or device that can allow me to jack the bike up so i can at least wash and lube my chain w/o looking like an idiot :o) if there's anything else that can jack the whole bike up en better.

 

hmmm, near ah boy? any shop name?

Paddock Stand MotoWorld selling for $120 if i'm nt mistaken. Gt two types of Clamps avaliable. But now out of stock sia. Me also lookin for one. Any other place i can get one...

I use a pair of car axle stands (supporting the footrests) to jack up the rear of the bike ...

You can wedge a piece of timber 25mm x 50mm section by say 350mm long (depending on the distance between the floor and the point of support - usually the right rear wheel axle nut) to lift the rear wheel of the ground. The timber should be long enough to raise the rear wheel just enough above the ground to rotate the wheel. Chock the front wheel or bump it against a kerb to prevent it rolling forward just to be be safe. Cost=$0.

 

I use a paddock stand but the stick is easier to lug around.
