nsr sp overhaul...

hey guys... i've been riding my FT plate sp for 1yr now and it broke down eventhough i change oil regularly, good 2t summore esso gold, maintain well, rarely wack ... i thot only fouled spark plug at first then i tow to workshop then they say must do overhaul bcos the piston all faulty already... so have anyone done overhaul on their sp b4? wat parts do they change when they overhaul?? how much is it for local or original parts...??? and which motor diam give good service and price?? someone help me pls??!!!

ovahaul usually change piston,piston ring. block,conrod,bearings (if necessary) depends on wad parts faulty.must mechanic thoroughly.do join nsr150 riders thread for more info.

hi EmZee, Im a previous SP rider and ive overhauled my bike last year, sad to say i cant help but have to overhaul cos my bike was bought from a stupid seller who doesnt take care of his bike and my friend who only knows how to talk about bikes din hear anything wrong with the sound... $%^&* and i believed him and bought the bike on impulse.

 

Anyways overhaul of bike is operation to the engine, usually have to leave the bike for 2 days until the mech calls u to come down and collect. They will open up your engine which is the heart of the motor. Fixed the faulty pistons, replace faulty bearings etc

 

After the overhaul your bike will feel reborn again, engine like new. sound also swee swee..

 

Cost? a cool $500.. thats what i paid for it.
