Engine power cut off

Wanna ask...wad i can do becoz my engine suddenly receives a power cut even though im whacking the throttle....wad i mean is...when i whack the engine at gear 2, the RPM goes up to ard 9 to 10k and stucks there...then i try it again at gear 3...RPM goes up to ard 9k again and stucks there...same goes to my gear 4, 5 and 6...overall, the feeling of the engine when i whack is like....the power comes abit, then the engine retains abit of power and it repeats and the speed is stucked there...btw...im riding a CBR 150...any idea or suggestion hw i can overocome this prob?

Just wanna decipher what you actually meant by this phrase. Do you mean when you bring up the RPM all the way to 9 or 10,000, the bike bogs down and jerks with resistance to gain power?

 

If that's the case, here are some preliminary suggestions:

1. Check your airbox. Is it dirty?

2. Check to see if your choke lever/switch is on or activated

3. If all checks are made but problem persists, have your mechanic adjust your fuel/air ratio through what they call "tuning".

 

If you can give us more details, we may be able to pinpoint the source of the problem easily.
