Hi, wondering if anyone drive their van or any g plate vehicle to malaysia?

(1) Just drive in like normal car using normal car lane in SG and malaysia

(2) Just drive in like normal car but using lorry lane and SG and malaysia

(3) Apply for paper work(which i dont know what is it) and drive in

(4) Other than the above...

For what i know, SG allow van to drive in without any problem, i not sure about malaysia custom side...

Goods & Service Vehicles = our SG "G" plate vehicles - to drive this G plate on MY roads, you will need a MY Goods & Service Vehicle license, similarly if U R a SG taxi driver & wan to drive yr SG taxi on MY road, u will need to have a MY taxi driving license as well. Our SG class 3 driving license can drive both types of "G" & private plate on SG roads, but MY laws are different. cheers

go custom to apply a pass... n u got to pay for malaysia roadtax

its that easy?? a cousin of mine thought about getting a permit for his PA van. but he found out the procedures were abit stupid. you need to live ur vehicle in kulai for 1 day for inspection or whatever crap, then the permit only last for 4 months or something.

the number of pass are limited. not any tom **** & harry can apply.

you need to show evidence why you need to apply for the pass.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

i had my bike towed several months ago when my piston seized and was speaking to the person who was helping me tow my bike about this very topic. apparently there is a need to apply for a permit (as stated by some earlier posts above). i think the extra hassle is worthwhile if you drive in often but not if you only need to go in once in a while.
