Feedback on BT-003 tyres at Track

Has anyone fitted on BT-003 and rode it on the Track ?? My friends and i saw the prices on the BT-003 slightly cheaper then Supercorsa so thought of changing to bridgestone.. Any review anyone ???

Just got them after 3 mths of waiting.

 

These are the RS tires, not the race with 4 different compounds. Briidgestone SG not bringing in the race compounds yet

 

Comparabley, they are slightly costly than the Dragon SuperCorsa, cheaper than the Diablo SC.

 

Dunno which benchmark to put the 003s on yet. If it is as close as the Power Ones street, it will be a very versatile tire.

I've tried to get my hands on the race BT003 from the agent since last year to no avail. Options are available but at a high price, the race bt003 are going for RM1440 a set to racers in KL.

 

The BT003 RS that we have now, is targetted at trackies regulars and someone who need a high performance street race rubber.

 

I do not know if race compounds are available from other shops in SG, but if available it is a plus option for many serious local racers.

Local Bridgestone guys informed me that there's no plans for race compounds as of yet.

 

We are always trying to provide the newest and best products asap. Power 1 and this BT003 is no exception. We do have ample stocks in house, right now, Thursday.

 

Before I do more insights on this 003. I can safely say it is at least in par or better with at least Dragon SuperCorsa, or Power One (unmarked, so we term them streeties)

D209 is a family note for Dunlop tires, comprising of 209 Gp, 209 CUP, 209 QFF, 209 A-10 etc, today 211 family is out, but sorry, nothing is in Singapore yet.

RaceTec K2 superceded by InterAct, no good reviews about them to me yet.

However I will keep my reservations on bringing the BT-RS on par with race Power One raccies or Diablo SC for some simple reasons & drawbacks.

Diablo SuperCorsa topping the Dragon SuperCorsa, with 4 compounds SC 0/1/2/3. Locally we can almost only get SC2 compounds before any special arrangements.

Power One has its A/B/C and the unique V for combinations usages, for different scenarios.

BT003 RS, unfortunately do not have compounds, akin to the Power One Streeties, so no fight mah...

 

Enough IMHO, we can see that Bt003 race is not intended for wet scenarios, unlike the RS counterpart, which make life easier for the impromptu trackies and daily rides, beside complementing the serious weekend warrior rides’ to the babysitter...

 

One point before any hero rubbered themselves on the new 003RS, it will be good to check also the 002 RS reviews as they have already been in the international market for some time now.
