illegal parking got recorded by patrol police

hi,

 

i was parking illegally opp a continuous white line just now cos i was attending a wake just beside. the car was parked on that spot for some time when i was alerted by the ppl at the wake about parking. at first i thought it was some normal parking attendance but when i went, i saw 2 patrol police recording down my car plate number. i am not the only car there so not too sure if he is just recording down my car.

 

after that i ask the family of the wake to let the police know that I am attending the wake hoping that he would just give chance. as the family member was talking to the police, i inform him that he had recorded my car number. but the police just kept quiet so what are my chances here?

Your question is? Will kena or not? Depends on the police. If they write report and send to TP, then kena already. By right if its illegal. it is still an offence.

 

If you can see those attending Friday Prayers and parked without any summon is because the mosque already got the permit from TP.

 

Just wait for letter and do you appeal. Anyway, they are still humans.

nope! not anywhere near there. but is damn suay la! who would have guess that a pair of police on patrol would come and bother this parking matter.:sian:

Usually its people complain then they will come. Else you think they so free meh? Some more have to do extra admin for matters outside their jurisdiction...

its a car actually. if i am the only car mayb i wun do that. but so many freaking car there that are more outstanding then mine. anyway mine's a family car so nth to show off about. that is why donno y target my car sia!

As long as u do not really obstruct traffic and cause massive jam and have a very good reason to park there.. I believe they will be lenient... Don't worry...

Next time put a piece of paper on the windscreen..

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

anyway it wasnt obstructing traffic cos its a dead road ahead so unlikely cars will drive pass.

No ticket = good chance no summon. Taking number for record purpose only,likely. But the officer has the discretion to follow up the summon at the station but,unlikely....

some relax officers just take number for record...

 

they have to send the report to tp...

 

they have to sumbit alot of things... very tiring for them...

 

also my friend was once caught for going against a traffic flow in a main road...

 

they recorded and never say anything.... no letter came till now..

 

happened like 6 months back..

most probably just for record purposes. Unless that patrol officer really has an issue with your face, he would usually let it slide. Those ex policemen and ex ns police will know this happens all the time ^^
