Appeal first or seeing MP first?

need your kind advice if knowing any.

 

Just got a ticket for not being in-line before turning.

 

Hence, am booked for 4 points/$130.

 

Wonder if it advisable to write in an appeal first til appeal being turned down then see a MP?

 

Or, see a MP first for e appeal?

 

Or, do need to appeal at all?

 

All sincere advices will be deeply appreciated.

IMO, I think it's good if you write an appeal first to the authorities to let them know you are aware of the charges brought against you, and -- by virtue of this appeal letter -- letting them know your reasons for riding in such a way + apologies + etc...

 

You know, don't jump the gun. Go with the flow.

The offence should be "failing to form up properly before turning". They taught us this during our driving centre days, only we choose (me included) to ignore it.

 

You can appeal first but frankly, I can't think of any reason to mitigate this. Forced out of the lane by a car, perhaps?

Sad to say, was caught by TP officers in QX car.

 

He stopped me and asked for my license, etc right after the turn.

 

Booked me for e following offence, i did not say a word as we all know, what's e point of debuting since they intend to stop and book me.

 

Take the bullet at the point of time, now hoping to appeal thou.

on my part, I myself did this often, guess lot of us too.

 

Knowing it wrong, like all said, In SG u can do anything, just do not get caught.
