Mikuni doesn't sell replacements for OE products and Suzuki genuine parts cost a whole lot more. If you know where to look, Vitton aren't that expensive.

Too bad I used up all I had left rebuilding my last GK76 or I can let you have the whole lot; no point keeping them as they all have a shelf life and my place has been growing smaller over the years.

Hmm...

What makes you think it's an RG?

Have a chat with the owner and gauge if you're comfortable with him working on your ride.

To me, they're like family doctors. Find a good one and stay with him/her!

I got mine when I was still residing in the UK at around S$1 each, but they sold them in packs of 25.

You might just be able to purchase them online.

You'll need 1 set of the following for each carburetor.

1) 10mm x 1mm

2) 4.5mm x 1mm

3) 10.5mm x 1.5mm

4) 11.5mm x 1.5mm

btw, thats the inside or outside diameter?

Just mid range alone or mid range when you full throttle?

Chey, tot you saw my bike somewhere. Had to make a quick dash home to see if it's still in my basement.

I usually work on my bike on my own unless I'm really busy, don't have the tools or need a second opinion.

It's OD or Outside Diameter, based on what I've got in my notes.

ok, example: i'm on highway running @ around rpm4-5k, then i throttle to speed up, notice from around 5-6k, damn weak then after that power comes. i read around online, should be running too rich. spent some time reading on uk & us gsxr forum...

You're running lean. Good to get it checked out soon before it's too late.

bro yoshitel, is there any way to improve FC?

mine is damn jialat leh.. 13L only 180km..

Hmm...

That sounds pretty bad, might be due to your air/fuel ratio.

Do a plug chop and share with us what the color of the electrode is.

My gut feel is you'll have a dark and oily electrode.

its the tip of the spark plug..the part that is creating the spark...and if its like what bro yoshitei described...i would believe that the combustion ain't complete..hope i'm not wrong :cheeky:

Usually, here's what I do.

1) Bring the up to 5k rpm and and hold for a minute or two.

2) Without any variance in the throttle position, kill then engine with the switch and clutch in at the same time.

3) Remove all four (4) plugs and take note of the color at the tip that's inside the engine.

The above will only work if your alternator is putting out the proper voltage, timing has been checked and you have good condensers and clean contact.

Hope it helps.

ben, ur bike fc really bad, i can confirm its ur air fuel ratio n ur electrode damn dirty. mine too was like that when i first got the bike. after i clean, wash the carb n tune- fc went up back to bout bout 19.

bout ur bike cant start, u need to elaborate more . if u rev it a lil, can u start it?

anyway i suggest u also to check if there is any spark when u starting it. the carbon starter seldom spoil actually. I'm still using the same one that came with the bike since the first day.
