within 2months, $2.2k gone...

i dont know... its on sale @ $3.3k. if some1 is interested, maybe i'll just let go... then buy a $1k 110cc kup & carry on with life... hahahaha... cos i also dont know how long i can hold on to it... cls2 is a "no" for me. anyway, dont think is easy to sell off @ this price... i thought it over, scrap it, buy another still gota come out extra $, why not i just do it up since i'm 1/2way already. if before service carb & new paintwork, i'll scrap it. giving up riding is not impossible but squeezing in public transport everyday is sure impossible for me. piston, block head, conrod & camshaft gone...:faint:

it will not be scrapped... coming out in 2weeks time.

 

advice for you guys out there, if you hear metal tick x2 sound coming from piston area when you start up, as you throttle, the sound go faster, it can be heard when you squat beside the bike. off it straight & tow to bikeshop, dont try your luck like me, do not close throttle suddenly.. otherwise, will be like me. piston hitting block head...

 

 

Look like a valve clearance issue. Piston reached top dead center (TDC) but the valves are yet to close fully. I suspect your cam lobes, and cylinder walls would be damaged too.

 

You were going at 8k rpm, good to check the balance of your crankshaft too and the remaining con rods.

the things you mentioned will be change as well... he got a used engine to replace whatever is damaged. he gave me such an offer, making me hard to reject. Edited by ben2306

like u said..since u already did so much to ur bike..might as well keep it...hahaha...just my personal opinion though...but from 400cc to 110cc..wouldn't u be not used to it..the performance and the posture all that

Life will be better if we get a new bike... G4 really old liao... U still have Swift okok =)

i then low loh, school so hard, so old liao still take $$$ from dad, bike everytime problem, & savings less than 1k =(((((

 

 

 

~~~I think we should just get a 125cc small bike seriously. Having bike is all about freedom...whats the point of having one that all parts seems to wear and tear constantly during our time of usuage? We ended up worrying and paying.... o_O

A Kup that cost SGD 1000 is great. Save petrol and money on repairs. Servicing and maintaining is kind on the wallet. Singapore just ride relax and be happy. Ride fast really stressed with such traffic and cars that dun signal...

its abit stressful riding a bike you spent so much of everything on it. you care too much for it than riding... lol. if i can, i'll get a cls2 instead but impossible lah. spending so much on transport... 2 suzukis is enough to drain me. lol.

 

A Kup that cost SGD 1000 is great. Save petrol and money on repairs. Servicing and maintaining is kind on the wallet. Singapore just ride relax and be happy. Ride fast really stressed with such traffic and cars that dun signal...
i'm thinking since i stopped going out @ nite, there's not much fun riding it anymore. just to work & home... haiz...

Anyway new problem to my bike, when front brake was pressed tail light never react and become Brighter! Sian....

1) Speedometer

2) Melted headlight Switch

3) Wiring problem with the front brke lever to tail light

4) Rpm anyhow Jump at times, Wiring loose i suspect

5) Felt tiny water droplets hitting on my shin while riding, suspect fluid leak somewhere...

1) Speedometer

Check the speedometer cable that comes out of your front wheel and goes into your instruments cluster, high change it broke due to rust.

 

2) Melted headlight switch

How bad is the damage? If you can provide a picture, it'll be helpful. Assuming it's just the connector that melted, you can easily replace that - cheap piece of plastic.

 

3) Wiring problem with the front brake lever to tail light

Check the brake switch under your brake lever, could have failed. Less then $50 to replace.

 

4) Rpm anyhow Jump at times, Wiring loose i suspect

Could be the RPM cable that comes out of your engine, again might be due to rust.

 

5) Felt tiny water droplets hitting on my shin while riding, suspect fluid leak somewhere...

Water or oil? Strip your fairings and rev your bike, if it leaks, you should be able to see it.

hugen, that time you overhaul for $1k+ do what huh??

less than few months here there got problems. just service w/o changing any wear & tear parts is not enough. since your bank always have never finish $1k inside, push in & overhaul again lah! then consider again want to sell me or not. that time offer you, you don't want...

bro yoshitel, i'm quite curious about your bike looks. mind post a pic? this bike is so rare, wonder how much has been spent to own it? from online pics, its looks is quite alike nsr250.
