wats the fuel conusumtion like?

how big is the fuel tank?

max speed?

insurance?

 

and how many versions of the gsxr400 are there out there..

 

eg: S4 got version S,PB1, vtec1,2,3

can range anything from 16-20km per litre of petrol depending on mods

 

how big is the fuel tank?

14+2

 

max speed?

can hit 240 if u have enough road and balls. i personally hit 210 only

 

insurance?

costs me 240+. cant really rem

 

and how many versions of the gsxr400 are there out there..

Rk - 2 exhuasts. one on each side

RN, SP, RP, RR.

 

not much diff for each except for SP model. fully adjustable front and rear. and its lighter too

Juz came back...sianz....when i was on my way bac..saw a police holdin a speed cam.but no flash on me...n i dunno how fast i go coz i dun hav speedo meter.I think i go less than 80.N infront got a major roadblock.kana stop n push a side.he nv say bout how fast i go.Num plate kana coz my front black n rear yellow.

i got questions to ask u guys

 

1)No flash izit means nthing happen?

 

2)The ROV nv say anithing bout how fast i go...does it mean alrite? :confused:

 

3)hand cam no flash but the rdblock there can recieved rite?

Josean u say g4 can reach 240?...kaoz...i reach 220 then stop liao leh.n my frd usin yoshi wif light weight body can reach 240 onli.

Yah loh...even those ppl who get big bike like R1 haya....even their bike can go 300km but they dun dare to try.I'll choose pink up then topspeed. :smile:

Well, i guess it matters if you're getting an rxk which has a top speed of 80-100......hehe....juz joking.....looking at a 400cc bike i guess you dun really haf to worry about the top speed unless your a speed freak who will go full throttle at every other chance you get in sg. Otherwise any 400cc.....hell even a 250 or 150cc can go up to 150+-(sorry, might be underestimated/exagerated) if well done up. I guess it juz becomes a habit to boast "hey my bike can go 400km/h(wow/puke)" everyone's gotta haf some place to up his ego.......heh heh.

gixxer no power?

first time i hear wor

 

mine is pretty okay lah.

i ride abt 6-7 rpm crusing. need to overtake? just drop a gear lor.

 

i changed orginal front and rear sprocket and RK x ring for 330 @ guan ho last year. a bit overpriced but at least its worth it.

 

coz previously sprocket giving headache so i tulan change all at one go. confirm no more problems.

 

icez: according to my fren who owns a SP model, he was able to hit the 240 mark. but it sure takes a loooooong time to get there.

 

 

lastly... its not how fast u can go, but how fast u can stop. powerful bike with lousy brakes may lead to ........ screech ---> bang ---> pee por pee por

Kevin here! (headless^biker) changed his front rear sprockets n a RK X-chain...for $160 over at HKL...Sprocket is not original one...coz it's made in japan...u guys can check it out 1st before making a decision. :smile:

 

Ktmger, wat u think it's lacking in Gixxer? pick up? maybe we can organise an outing with the gixxers to test or give pointers for ur bike. Will be better coz if ur bike is in gd condition,u can save a sum of $$...dun hav to change anything.

yeah... pickup lacking in my gsxr400.. i go do tuning first then see how... this bike used to b tuned for high revv... must revv till 6 then got more power... :giddy:

No need tunnin lah lol....i teach u the easiest ways...tis sure boost up ur pick up...how i noe?coz i tried b4.haha...simple!juz adjust the rpm below the oil tank.u adjust to 6rpm.then u try pull ur trottle...haha...dun belive?no harm give it a try.
