As he could install the K&N filter and tune up his bike @ GuanHoe liao mar.....so he no need to buy the normal suzuki gsxr400r airfilter....hahaha

And as well he could try the power different from K&N air filter and normal filter while on the way to MotoGP and back to Singapore......

am i correct, ICE?

Well the radiator I brought back from Singapore turned out to be full of holes. Arse! But the sides are still good. So I'm thinking of going to a rad shop to remove the sides, fabricate a new copper core and re-attach the sides...

Adding to the injury, my fork legs have kicked the bucket and started leaking like a faucet. No easy fix, coz the culprit is the chrome that has rubbed off... so I need new legs.

Questions:

1) Anyplace I can get new forks? Jurong scrapyard can find or not?

2) Will RGV250 forks fit? Fully adjustable, better than the stock G4 items!

Yes my lord... the VJ23 forks fits in juz fine wif some fabrication... i think the front calipers has to be changed though...

hi all,

check with you guys...

for the front fork preload adjuster, if I dun see anymore lines on the adjuster means it's at maximum preload or minimum preload?

serviced my front forks yesterday to GH and they changed my previous preload settings. handling feels weird now

tracky, how much GH charge for the front fork? Did call up BIKELAB and ask them before about our fork and shock, they charge $155 for the front and for the rear rite, need to ride down to let them see what they can do to it.

But i think i trust BIKELAB for doing fork and shock even they charge a bit high.

GH charged $85 which incl new seals, fork oil and labour.

I did want to go down to bikelab too but since decided to do at GH since i was sending my bike there for service.

Hmm...since our rear shock is non-rebuildable, wonder what will bikelab do to help it? Just clean up and regrease of the linkages?

Anyway, BikeLab does have a pretty good rep from what I read in the other topics so it's worth giving them a shot

$155 for front Only period... Last i heard they say there's nothing they can do boutthe non rebuilable rear shock of ours... Yes... Bikelab really do a good job for forks... totally strip the whole thing apart... which is why i went to bikelab instead of guan hoe for my forks...

my preload was wound all the way in. no wonder every bump and ripple on the road was really harsh.

Lessened it to 2 lines showing but yet to go for a test ride
