1) Change Gear religiously at arnd 5k rpm, do not drag till 7k and abv. The more u drag, the faster your gas burn. I reckon 5k rpm is a gd point to up the gear for my bike. You may wanna try 4-4.5k if ur bike is powerful enough with the appropriate tuning.

The beauty of the GSX is that it will rev up 14-15k RPM!

To shift at 5K RPM and maintain at 5k RPM is like mis-treating the bike. :cheeky:

Whats wrong with an ST4? Its basically a Monster with fairings, so it is much more a sporty tourer than the ST11 or FJR, or STX, or Dullsville :p

Actually, the Monster S4 is an ST4 without fairings. :D

End of day, it's just a bike lar.....

But quite shiok to ride.

Maintainance even more shiok shiok..... :cheeky:

well yes...it can be adjusted...but it wunt last long...look inside ur suspension...wat num izit?...

me adjust the preload to 2. But wat about rebound and compression? are they adjustable on the gsxr400 rear suspension?

coz I heard this 2 factors will result for the quality of the ride too.

hi u guys dropped ur bike b4?

i dropped it once, it took me 5 mins to lift it up

some more tat time full tank :faint:

I dropped mine, oh, ermm about 8-9 times probably.. hehe.. (hey, at least I admit lar).

Rolled off the paddock stand, hit the front brakes in the middle of a low-speed u-turn (and the girls were watching.. oh lordyyy.. damn paiseh..!), sidestand sank in soft tarmac, other bikes dominoed on it, unknown moron tipped it over at night.. etc.. etc.. plus 3 crashes..

The little b!tch *IS* heavy to lift up alone. Most of the time I managed lah... except the one time when I threw it upside down in a ditch in Genting... that one took 4-5 people to lift it out lah.. hehehe.. :thumb:
