go buy EO 100% syn from quick89 from this forum. He selling 1 bottle $14. FUCHS brand. Then DIY lor.

 

Just went ahboy area bought a water hose very thick wan.. Think going to replace it wif my air intake hose.. haha ah king same as urs.

engine oil better buy in sg.jb engine oil mostly made in malaysia. for me engine oil, i buy in sg n diy.

when they change the clutch plates there r 2 parts.

 

-steel x7 pieces, each $7

-fiber x8 pieces, each $14

-clutch relay, $42, connecting the clutch cable to the clutch area dunno wat

-clutch sleeves.. forget how mcuh liao le.

-engine oil x4litres... bring ur own ba, better..

-gaskets at the clutch there.. they will auto change new set for u.. again $$

 

all done at Guan Hoe. for these, its better to get stock den compatible ones. its unlike sprocket or headlight. this one important. in my own opinion la.

I feel something rather uneasy to change the clutch plates etc. Spent quite a lot on my baby liao. My bike tends to move forward like half clutch whenever I clutch in and rev over 7k rpm with 1st gear engaged during stationary. But the problem is, I feel that it's not something related to clutch slip.

I read abt clutch slips etc, but something ironic is that...

- My bike never dies off during start up, 0.5k rpm idling during cold/hot startup even when I clutch in with 1st gear engaged

- No difficulties find neutral at all times

- Changed clutch cable 1 mth ago

- Carb serviced 1/2 a mth ago

 

Could it be the freeplay setting? or EO due for change? I know nuts about the bike technical issues. I know a visit to the bike shop and let them check would be a good suggestion, but nevertheless it's better to rectify and share the problems among u guys before making down a trip to shop.

Would really like to meetup with u guys one of these days..

 

King, if u wanan go for carb servicing, I strongly recommended planet. FC improved from 11.5km/l to 17.5km/l and latest is 19.01km/l. Worth the money, they have earn a respect and trust of another happy customer. Initially I tot of buying the jet needle float before going down, but I juz heck care, went there, only the carb seals/gasket was changed, juz plain wash and tune. Asked beng if there's a need to change the jettings due to wear and tear, he said no need.

both tuesday and saturday i can make it, cause now study break. always wanted to get some stuff for my bike but no time to go down.

by the way, i got 1 spare illegal end can. from what i heard for the seller, he told me valve opens at both 7k and 11k, more powerful and the sound louder. can it fetch $150? maybe i go try out before try selling

from wat i noe..theres no suzuki b.bike pro there...but damn gd in mod 2stroke bikes especially the indian shop at the end (close at 3-5am)

 

so far i onli been to 3 shop there...wat i can say is the shop wif 1 ah beng n the boss name ah chong(if i nt wrong)fat fat one... they do wash carb for g4..but dunno gd anot.n yah..u realli need to bring the accessories there coz they dunhav stock one...needa order*

no special tools needed..i rather u go wkshop do for u...onli $2 diff.no point dirty ur hands..n yah..its illegal to change engine oil at carpark.

dear solidpig..i still confuse on ur question..mayb u can call me at 93864864 n cum out for a kopi...mayb at jalan kayu..i try to figure out...

 

n regardin bout tunning..if u wan better performance..u gonna sacrifice ur petrol.... simple-if u wan fast..petrol burn more...better FC....slower.

 

yah planet realli quite okie in tunning..especially ah beng*.

 

19km/l is consider good as for average g4 it around 16-18km/l +-

oo..$2 to change only ehz....thats quite affordable..den in that case no nid change myself...cos tinking if its ex, will learn n go change myself in jb, cos noe of a few jb shops that dun charge extra for disposal
