Mt faber problem is that there alot of cars go pass if u sit by the road side. then there when bz hard to park bike. Not as private n spacious as seletar. at leats seletar can see bikes n cars mount faber we see couples only. Seletar happens to be the meeting place for the pass 1yr plus for the G4s already....so i guess that place comes to mind first when they arrange meet ups and they are comfortable with that place already. Alex....those guys drag up and down...let them show their bikes lor...actually sm of them their testing bikes...like the cbr...he was repairing smthing n testing but not slowing down at the hump was stupid....watch show lor......i did tuning there myself once too...coz onli 1 way in 1 way out...so chances of TP very slim.

I'm back here again, MIA.

Denso or NGK, well, asked some of my friends who ride the 1000/1300, both the plugs r same / similar. The classification is there. NGK Iridium IX and Denso Iridium Power no significant performance diff except on the Dyno maybe.. Do u speed down the road or speed on the Dyno? I prefer road than paper. I've tried NGK CR8EK and Denso platinum and NGK Iridium IX.

 

CR8EK is good, smooth pick up, no pull, nothing fancy Good up till mid Range.

Platinum is better more torque than CR8EK smooth ride at higher RPM.

 

What u saw in my bike that day was NGK Iridium IX, I must say, this one has got very significant improvement from platinum. U will feel the initial punch when u play pick up, Roll on is also very responsive.

 

Of cos all these means u need to have a tuned bike, no need to tune each time u change plug, u need to tune when u feel theres a lost in power, backfire.. etc

Most impt, R u ready to change ur Iridium plugs often? perhaps 1.5 times more often than CR8EK? CR8EK is a durable plug, if u want can last a yr on the road. of cos will lose some pwr lah.. BUT Iridium/ High performance plugs will lose its effectiveness after some time, the firing pin or sparkler head will get blunt and the result will be lost in power. Work it out b4 u change ur plugs, do u whack or do u cruise at 70-90? Not that u cant use Iridium for daily use, but its not worth it.. Iridium plugs saves fuel but the amt u saved on the fuel is not enuf to give u the difference of $10 each time u change the plugs.

I got my plugs at 18 each. incl of changing.

Play at Mount Faber might as well play at South Buona Vista a.k.a. 99 bends?

those who stay west, I like to play the Clementi ave 6 exit along AYE towards Tuas. Its a Sharp left, Then Double Right. nice nice.. B careful though got many Wannabes (Cars, Lorries, Buses) who cant keep to their lanes!$!@#$!@#

Another one is the notorious KJE Exit BKE towards johor, Wide road, Left bend.

There is one which made my balls shrink while playing it, its the PIE towards Jurong exit along Adams Road. Damn sharp and long Left bend, almost touched my pedals while travelling at 90, My balls shrank when i looked left and saw the floor staring blankly at me..

Haha.. Ride safely out there else we know wat happen.. Right Ice?
