BTW i change did o ring at HKL for 180 and i think its a good deal. comments pls

The bike lurch forward cos its engaged in gear 1 or 2. if neutral wont move le.

I change my clutch sets with this problem also. Now still the same. when engine warmed up, in 1st ger, clutch in the bike will launge forward, must brake.. no choice..

Solution:

1. Down gear to neutral b4 u stop at traffic light.. lower ur speed and brake gradually esp rainy days.. no engine brake lah but at least u dun have to fight with ur bike..

2. When u r in gear 1 or 2, rev a little then kick to neutral, it will be much easier..

Get the mech to check ur clutch cables and the hook near the front sprocket (pinion) might be worn out, mine broke a few months back.. then weld back.. cos no money change.. $70 for a new hook.

The o ring sounds reasonable lor, got change the both the front and rear gears not? pinion and sprocket.. To ensure ur chain lasts, change all 3 items together reduce unneccessary wear and tear on each other..

I changed my DID X ring at LAB for $190. I called HKL they say $190 wif italy sprocket. LAB's sprocket is from AH BOY LAND. $180 for O ring? Why not $10 more for X ring..

I changed 1 time at HKL + EO total $190... But clutch in it wont move at all, serve me well for 1 yr liao. Actually i was told by someone(which i cant rem, maybe my mama). Its not good to go along wif this problem, duno will effect which area.*impt* area.

To go neutral easily u have to rev abit then tap up from 1st gear to neutral. But when u kick to 1st gear, u will hear a loud ' TA ' sound... which often breaks my heart but keep telling myself, ' haha nvm la loud is good, more like class 2 bike '. But sooner or later its blood steam go until ur gear box, who noes.. Then its time for u to move to R1 like raymond...

Early morning damn sian ah... whole nite toking to myself, no guest to entertain me...

its very normal. coz u r actually forcing the gear down. dunno how to explain for bikes. but i can explain how gears in cars crash.

something like tat.

anyway, indication to change eng oil is really to check the color of the eng oil. if possible feel it.

Another indication is changing of gear. if gear gets difficult to change, it means eng oil is already not providing enough lubrication which means need to change. But hor, old bike, the gear itself already very difficult to change le. So this way to judge eng oil is not avisable

No more regrets.

Pierre, when I'd clutched in, and throttle until perhaps for abt 7 to 8k rpm from stationary position, bike will inches/moves forward like half clutch.

wat's the problem? I have no problem going into neutral gear unless engine is damn hot, then gotta rev a bit to go into neutral and EO changed 2 mths ago, clutch cable changed few mths back.

i think its clutch plate lor.. i think tat is a standard issue for GSX. wear and tear

Y r u reving to 7k 9k? u playing launch drag ah?

This is quite normal.. think of this the dist between the clutch plates is only mm apart. U rev so high the kinetic energy induced will make the mm seem like micrometers.. then becomes like nv release clutch or halfclutch.. quite normal lor.. unless ur tuning for clutch plates, engine, gears, cables all brand new then think wont have such problem..btw, we got 13 plates.. thats alot, same space squeeze in so many plates, dist apart nearer lor..

use ur footbrake, then do ur launch. should be ok bah...

BTW, anyone interested to meet up with me go in earlier to Malaysia? go PG c c look look on 17?

Thanks for enlighten me, you are there la brother!!

Well, no la, not dragging. I'm a law abiden rider.

once a week I will clear carbon in mscp one, of coz in neutral mode, then there was a few occassion whereby I clutch in with gear 1 and rev, then bike will inch forward. So, from how u explain i guess it's a normal sign, not clutch plate wearing oout right?

13 more days to outing... countdown.
