1)wats d diff between gsxr n gsxrr?

2)While i stop on the traffic light,y its so hard to find neutral?(izzi all gsx hav the same pro?)

3)izzi full thank can go not more than 300km?

4)how to check wether the engine is normal?(if can,can ani old bird meet up to test it?)

and damn the road tax!so ex!1time more than small bike!

btw anione hav a normal/ tinned black windscreen?coz mine is a luminious green n were like to exchange.coz it cum together when i bought. :cheer: cheers to all gsxr rider.

1) gsxrr the last "r" is the year code... Got many different year code... k,L,M,N,P,R,S...

2)Trottle abit den clutch in kick neutral.

3)I think hmm...Full tank w/o reserve dun think can hit more than 300km.

4)Listen the sound...Engine respond...Search around...Many articles on this.

From wat i noe...

 

SP model was 1st introduced in 1988.

 

Shorter wheelbase, different suspension and gearing as compared to standard model. With rear shock later added. But this added feature was later implement on standard model as well in 1991, GSXR400RM.

 

Other more techical stuffs...prehaps il4 will help me addon. ;) ;) :bounce:

2)if in addition to difficulty in finding neutral, and u find that changing gears is really stiff, or bike moves forward when fully clutched in, your clutch plates might be worn.

3)my full tank is approximately 300km.

4)hmmm... dunno, i just listen for abnormal noise when checking out bikes.

Clear or slightly tinted black windscreen can be bought at lab for 20plus bucks.

ok i agree tt ll4 tone in correcting ur mistake may be a bit harsh but ultimately u are wrong in making such assumptions and giving wrong advice. So pls dun argue ur way out of it by coming up with MORE assumption about il4 life being 'boring' or wat... the more u try to flame him instead the more it look bad on u.. just admit u gave the wrong information and all is forgiven.. relax..

1988 Suzuki launched the GSXR400J, there was no SP model for this. 1989 was the launch of the GSXR400K. It was 1990 before the first batches of SP were available. My ex bike was from this batch and the log card said manufacturing was in 1990. Maybe, just maybe Suzuki Japan could have made some in end 89. That I cannot confirm but I don't really think Suzuki made any SP in 88.

hi guys,

 

my bike juz got knocked over 2 days ago by this female when shes getting out of her lot.

:cry:

bike repair liao seems to be only cosmetic injuries (paint came off) on the tank and fairing.... :weep:

 

my gripe tho is, i wonder if its jus me thats paranoid cos i seem to feel that the bike is vibrating more now when i riding above 4k and close throttle, its the kind of viberation that is felt from the footpegs.. my mech say its nothing....

 

do you guys who nver drop bike befor hav the same experience?

is it jus me or is there smthing to it? :confused:

Guys, today bought a set of gsxr wiring from Sountern motors for $30 from a guy called Ah Huat. Went home then I realised the signal switches, ignition switches all missing from the wiring..Going back to change with them..tomorrow..Anyone here has a spare set of wiring to sell. Complete set. With the signal switches, ignition switches..all the sockets in good condition??

I think my wiring also start to be funny liao.. that day got smoke after i cut engine... :sweat:

 

Jackson.... need ur advice, wonder if u experience this with ur bike? problem is as the above thread... when i am moving and i close throttle, i feel the whole bike vibrating, that can be felt through the footpegs... my mech test ride felt it too but couldn't find out where the source is, he suspect may be hump bearing loose, but he say its ok to vibrate... but i still feel very uneasy.. :sweat: and when ever go over hump or bumpy road, can hear sound from the front fork and rear suspension.... unless i go very slow..

 

any idea whats wrong?
