I keep hitting flatspots at around 190-200kmh, annoying as hell!

okay..

the 3 to 5 bhp is at wheel..

but varies alot..

 

you only can see the different when u near red line.

its a carb model bike.. so you can't control the power flow.

 

yup torque surely will increase..

increase by how much. have to depend on ur bike..

dun think will be extremely different but u can feel tat power comes in quicker cos more air flowing out. By reving ur bike u can see the needle drop fast.

Den again.. doing this only improves alittle..

To do more.. and getting better result u need to change the jet needles..

change it to higher eg, 105 change to 110.

thus it also increase fuel consumption.

 

A tong exhaust can give u the torquey feeling. As no restriction to the end can. Confirm feel better den a stock pipe.

 

For better red line result change to aftermarket full system.

wow... so what after market full systems are there for gsxr 400rr?

full system meaning headers + end can of coz?

I don't think there are legal ones around, I've neva heard of a full system for the gsxr400. Mabbe i just don't know about it........ but if you have the dough to splurge, you can try asking motoworld if they are willing to import one over for you from japan.

 

But a full system would would sound cool though....

yeah..very good turnout despite a very old bike.

yesterday on the way back,my clutch holder piece tat holds the cable line broke off..luckily all the way back to yishun green light all the way..if not die liao
