use less of it bro...use more of ur front discs. i used to have that feeling like if i pressured the fronts too much i might stoppie or not able to stop in time...but now im loving the brakes. haha. just gotta trust ur bike and the confidence will come. I used to fishtail alot last time....nowadays i used my rear like 10% or so.

if it helps...u can try servicing ur brake pump/lines also. go for a bleed or sumthing...might be inconsistent delivery of fluids causing different variables of braking power even with same pressure applied. Cant really say until u have it checked out cos alot of possible factors. Just my one cents worth. :cheeky:

Yep2, support ur notion there. I use most the front brakes most of the time too with consistent use of the rear brakes as well ait.

Invest in good brake pads & change to hel brake hose line if u have the gees. :p

Diffrence in Brands iz nt the Main Factor. It Is the Thread & the Compound that Plays a big Role :p

I go for 34/36 for my Tyres

Most... Can say all Uses their Front Brakes coz of execcesive usage in the Back will leads 2 FishTail... I Uses my Back onli in an E-Braking situation...

yup rectifier around that price. It's best to change battery and rectifier together. But if ur batt still ok, then can save abit.

daytona is gd. i used that for my 400 last time. gives u nice smooth braking. Think it's around 25bucks for that. If you dun mind spending more, can buy those sintered ones like wynsen mentioned, ebc HH or galfer. these are around 70 to 80plus :thumb:

Juz my Opinion here Guys: The Better Brake Pads are the more "Softer" ones thus they have a tedency 2 WearOff Faster... but Yes they do offer a whole different feeling of Braking :thumb:

Disc Brake if can i suggest gettin a 2nd Hand ones coz the New ones can b quite Ex.

The Dial located at the Brake Lever are for adjusting the Braking Power. Simply by pushing the Lever in an outwards motion U can change the Dial settings. Kinda forgotten here for a moment, if i'm nt wrong the Bigger the Nos the Harder the Braking... Or izzit the other way round

if can remember the lesser the number the farther the lever is. so gotta pull more in...thus u feel it harder. bigger numbers lever closer.

Hi guys, i just purchased my GSXR400 recently and i have to bring it for inspection before 7th Feb 08. Only worried abt my exhaust. Can anyone help me tell if it can pass?

Also, i haven't seen GSXRs on the road. Was wondering where all the riders went.

Perhaps a short ride or meet up? Sincerely wanna learn more about this bike from more experienced riders like you guys. Ride up to JB also can. Havent ridden the bike more then 90km/h. Wanna see how loud she screams!!!

Do contact me at 90403005 or via msn at [email protected]

I'm at Clementi area.

regards,
