Added on this to those who come and left w sore eyes.

 

I intend to refer my case to e MP be it if i can pull thru with my summon a not.

 

As mentioned, it my summon, my life, my bike, my issue.

 

It my personal decision since only a few here came out with very good helps/reasons why should I or should not see MP, which i deeply appreciate.

 

However, with some other not helping but just here to 'show-off' watever they like to, made my feeling sad and fear to seek help for any other kind bikers.

 

Anyway hope it will leave a good reference for those who happened to be in my situation which all bikers will never wana be in.

 

It a forum. With freedom of speech.

Gun me down, thumb up for me, does n will not made a great diff in life.

 

Life is about choice, chose to be nice than nasty allow everyone to be a happy man.

there're thousand of car driver who dun signal when turning...

 

how come they on pin point on rider...that isn't fair...

cos if car turn ..dun signal...bike will bang into it..and cause more serious..injury ler..

 

how about appeal..and say your bulb blown...liao...but u have already replace it ler..?

Can try appeal..But The fine isn't much right? Got points? Prolly would be good if you have a receipt to prove that you replaced the "blown" bulb..

If its a small amount and no demerit points..Just save up and pay..Only seek the MP's help if the fine is a large amount and comes with demerit points..

If I committed an offence, I will only try appealing once. If rejected, I will just face the consequences. I prefer to think that the MP is there to help people with needs and not help people to get away from the law.

Bro, i suggest u appeal to your MP. Appealing to TP won't do you any good 'cos it will most likely be rejected. They won't even wana hear your appeal. Your MP might be able to help cos he has a duty to serve his constituency and its residents. Just be sure to explain your situation to your MP clearly and SHOW REMORSE. My bro who's a serial offender (parks his bike at void decks) tried this method and it was a success.

The only thing you got to ask yourself first is "turning without signal is it a right thing?"

 

If you believed what you have done is right and you are wrongfully accused, then you go and see a MP ba.

 

p.s. Think of why your appeal is rejected in the first place.

Whats wrong with me saying move on with life? Did i put it in BOLD or CAPS?? Seems like you took it negatively. Well up to you then if u view it that way. But still, did not signal = offence. Whats there to appeal? Unless you really have a valid reason, which i doubt so.

From this link, lane changing without signaling is 70 bucks, though I'm not sure if lane changing w/o signal and turning w/o signal have the same punishment.

 

Just realized something - TS only mentioned he's thinking whether to appeal, but didn't mention to appeal what? At first I tot TS is appealing that he should get this punishment at all. Then later it seems like he's appealing that his punishment is too harsh (ie. should be fined only and not getting demerit pts). So which one is it?
