riding without license n insurance

My friend was caught on a road block for riding without license n without insurance. Could anyone update me what will the charge in court . And can he request for instalment for the fine.

 

Anyone got charge for this offence recently? And what was the out come.

the owner of the bike might be charged too, license might be suspened.

dun think there is installment for fine... usually if u cant pay for fines den u will get jail... there is pple who ride with a valid license and without a insurance get jailed b4... so ask ur fren to get prepare coz he dun even has a license!

the judge will read out the sentence saying xx mths of suspension and $xxx of fine.he can request for installment. that will be decided at the end of the court session,meaning his charge sheet put eg. 8.30am and court session ends at eg. 3pm that is when the judge will decide $xxx amount for xx no. of mths.. this is based on my friend's suspension when i was present in court seeing what was happening..if cant pay fine which will be taken as default he will have to serve time from my knowledge is $200/day..

both the owner of the bike and the rider without insurance will be charged. both license should be revoked and would be a fine.

last yr i met someone in same lockup..(my case didnt pay outstanding fine haha)

 

he was charged 1 yr revoked 1.6k fine. he told his IO he took his fren keys without owner knowledge. but with NO INTENTION because the keys was in his possession. the owner put in that guy bag.

 

so..his invesgitating officer(IO) was very kind give him 1 charge and his fren who lend the bike didnt get charge. in law.. he can be charge for theft which more heavier..no fine..confirm minimum 2yrs imprisonment max 7yrs. and owner of the bike can be fine and/or sentence to imprisonment.

 

he told me he ask judge for leniency..he told his sad story eg..still schlin..work parttime help his sick parents....then judge let him pay installment 400 every mth.

 

don28.. im sharing this story doesnt mean your fren also will get 1.6k fine and 1 yr revoke. all go case by case. see what your fren statement. just tell your fren prepare alot of cash and i mean thousands if he dont want be in prison.
