Anyone can advice if transact with pte seller, how to ensure i pay when the car is transfer to me first or after i hand over the cheque? I was thinking of cashier order but hand over it when i see lta's transfer letter.

 

cashiers order in sellers name and go to lta together to make transfer.

once done, hand over cashiers order. in any transaction, there must be a minimum level of trust for the deal to conclude.

Ya, viewing a few pte sellers, i thought i dont mind the seller holding on to the car until the cheque is cleared then i collect the car. But i want transfer to be in my name first before i hand over, sellers security is still the keys to the car. But its ok if seller insists on cashiers order and give me the car on the spot, just abit troublesome to make a cashier order.
