today news....some areas in msia got floods...

will there be any problem going up cameron?

M'sia battles fresh floods

 

KUALA LUMPUR -MORE than 12,000 villagers have been evacuated from their homes in Malaysia as a second wave of floods ravaged two states amid heavy rain, according to state media on Monday.

 

Flooding in low lying areas forced affected villagers in Kelantan and Terengganu to be housed in relief centers.

 

In Terengganu some major roads were submerged while others were closed due to landslides.

 

Flood operations officials in northern Kelantan state told Bernama 3,019 victims were evacuated to relief centres this morning as rivers have swollen and overflowed their banks during Malaysia's monsoon season.

 

It said 9,062 villagers in Terengganu were seeking shelter in relief centres.

 

Floods hit the east coast states early this month, killing two and causing thousands of people to be evacuated. There has also been a major outbreak of cholera due to contaminated food and water in Terengganu with one death reported. -- AFP

the only problem going up cameron will be land slide .....

 

if the whether is so bad ... than we shall go up using Pulai route ....

 

other than that , be more alert look out for muddy or sandy road due to the rain

washing the mud or sand onto the road

latecomers, either you chase or encik will see you at 0600 hr.

more of road cond? the tapah route accessible or not, oh and whether the farms/plantations are opens for visits..

 

a grp went early this mth said they were closed due to bad weather :(

 

basically more concerned abt nature elements..
