Here in the Philippines, Honda bikes rule the streets in volume. In the speed category, the fastest we have here yet is the Kawi Leostar120 underbone. but in the race track, the Crypton Z rules!

 

the crypton z 110 here is more expensive than most 125cc models of honda, kawasaki and suzuki. it gained popularity here by it's good racing reputation and durability. most riders modify their cubs for aesthetics and added power but the z is as fast and powerful compared to 125's here in stock form.

 

the most common mods are low profile (racing type) tyres and magwheels, seatcover graphics and alloy parts.

i just full tong my original pipe... which prove to be more power... easily wheelie... but bad points is its really loud.. not as loud as yoshi.. but much louder then original one.. so in the end,, buy back original one at auto machinery at mustafa.. at $90.... pick up slower.. need effort to pop wheelie.. top end also lesser....

Go to the shop where i bought and they install me a new pipe and exhaust.They welding the exhaust and the pipe so itz hard to take out to prevent kena stolen again..

 

But few months later notice the pipe getting rusty & corrosive.

Then 1 find day got popping sound coming from the engine...

 

Not happy with the sound i check the pipe and found out there is a leaking near the gasket of the engine....

 

Boh pian i go to jb to change the gasket but to my horror when the mechanic open up my whole pipe,the connection to the engine from the pipe was broken.

 

The mechanic weld it back and when i ride it it still the same...air leaking...no power...could not reach to 100...

 

Then i get fed up and went to jb again to ask the mechanic to check why my pipe connected to the engine near the gasket got air leaking.

 

They take out and check and found out the pipe hole to connect to the engine is small,coz of dat air leak out.I ask them how?The mechanic say they change the pipe but the bad part is dat my exhaust was weld together with the pipe.So got to cut some of the pipe and weld it to the new pipe.

 

After doing all the technical stuff i test ride the bike and it got more power.

Now is my concern,I scared dat inspection in near future won't let me pass.

 

Is cutting and welding another pipe joining is legal or not?

care to share where u stay and where ur pipe is stolen? so we bikers can look out..

The incident took place at Serangoon central MSCP....Report to the police...still under investigation...hard luck can't find it again....desmokat,u mention u change original exhaust rite?Is it sparkZ?

Cheaper?? Maybe LOCAL made one? Made in Malaysia? Dat's why cheaper. Be careful when buying things bro. Better to buy ORIGINAL than local. Dat's my concept la. Don know for yours....

sh*t..I email to Hong Leong Yamaha agent and they dun have the exhaust for sparkZ....Wat sh*t siak!!!Funny agent dun have SparkZ exhaust...

but they have both type... for old version of sparkz... they are using the chrome pipe.. but selling the muffler and silencer separetly... if u wan the black one.. as for x1 model one.. its the same for new sparkz...

oh header is the front part of the whole exhaust.. which mean the pipe frm ur engine to ur footrest area...

here in Indonesia, Yamaha Spark known as Yamaha Jupiter Z 110cc....

Its the most famous 110cc underbone...and the king of the Indonesia road race championship.....

At the FIM road race championship, at 110 cc underbone class.....i think Indonesian rider is number one, heh??? we have Doni Tata (the Yamaha racer)....

now he go to fight at Japan road race championship and go to for 125cc world GP 125cc....

Jupiter Z can beat a Suzuki shogun 125 at road....IMO...
