I will continue to do my fuel consumption intake and see the difference after using REDEX.

Also I just changed the air filter..so lets see the difference

adjusted

1. valve clearance ...opened those 4 big nuts and adjust internal valve clearance.

2. retune entire timing settings of carburator

3. change double stand spring

 

all RM10 labour + spring

I just changed my air filter last month, the mileage still never improve, will sent my bike for check soon. What do you think? For air filter, will need to get in advance from autocycle as sometimes the stock is low.

now it is closed door cause got air - con

see the counter there is one chinese man skinny guy

get close and be close friend with him

 

take down autocycle number and his name

 

next time before u go there u call and book the parts

 

now air filter has two version

 

1. malaysian

2. thailand

 

normal is

original yamaha packaging

 

this autocycle carries both local and original

 

normaly i buy two pieces and keep in my storeroom cause i change air filter every 6000km

8/12/07 fill in 3.69litre at 61201

so roughly 1 litre i am getting 45km average urban 97km/h

 

so for 4.5 litre tank i can cover 206km at 97km/h average urban + expressway consumption

 

let me do one more round check

 

manual says 1 litre 47km per litre

i normally get 43km per litre cause of riding 110km/h

How come yours get worse, from 50 km p/litre to 37 p/litre

why from 50km dropped to 37km and now increase to 46 km ?

 

because at the time there was a problem with the bike on spark plug and starting problem

 

yamaha engineer said must get 1 litre 47km for normal riding at 80km/h

 

anyway, with expensive plug, good air filter, synthetic oil, good maintenace, i still can get 47km for 1 litre at 100km/h

 

your bike is 4.5 litre and must get 211km at average 100km/h

so roughly 1 litre i am getting 41km average urban 100km/h

 

plug got problem

need to change spark plug

i change it every 3 months

this yamaha eats plugs

hi peepz...any idea how much does a spark z head fairing +headlight and the meter cost?i just dropped my frenz sparkz n the head fairing,headlight n meter cracked...now must change for him.

follow me JB ....I go anytome i wish and no specific timing

furthermore the shop i go in Jb is in Taman Uda on the way to Skudai

beside the man road. 11am till 9pm opening hours. I don't do any modifications. I am very standard and original and maintain well my bike. That's all.

Do surf the previous 50 pages and there is a lot of price tags in JB and Singapore i mentioned and also the bike items used. I do not want to repeat. U shall see previous all pages.

call autocycle....located in jalan serangoon. they are the number 1 dealer for yamaha and also cheapest.

if not call cheong aik located at desker road.

 

call 100 and ask for number and surf net to get the number from yellowpages and call them.
