angel eye is NOT switched on together wif ur headlight.. u on it when only u wan to show it.. but u can make it together if u wan..

 

eg. go dam?

 

btw if u got white angel eye u can switch it on wif ur headlight.. no issue wif TP.. white is legal color.. =) but best is got switch and don on unless u wana "show off" only.. normal riding no point on..

np.. angel eyes for action action onli lah .. haha u wan u can switch on together wif ur headlight.. but dun serve the purpose to show the angel eye anymore le.. haha.. we r bikes not bmw =x if wan on wif headlight best is those got projector lense headlight wif both side on.. den nice..

y i used solder coz i using the 3v le so i need resistor to power it!! and the led look brighter coz my rod i only buy 5 and 6 and y not 8 coz 4 bigger head lamp like super 4 hard to bend try it then you know

 

fierymonkey: ur angel eye from what i see the rod is kinda thin? how come you need to solder your LEDs? you can buy those ready 12v plug&play kind?? the brightness is about the same.

 

btw, if u wan people to order from you, u gotta do a good one to showcase it.. see oOQiangOo's one.. neater den urs.. cos the one we do is the angel eye + the modified/upgraded version. =)

 

 

 

btw.. if anyone wants, oOQiangOo wanna sell his angel eye for $50/pair (Red/Blue/Green) w/o installation. =)

we r using the rdy made 12v powered wif resistor on..can get it at sim lim tower b1..corner shop..

 

'Bake' the rod to soften it den use a mould to make it round..when harden, drill holes at both end of the rod then cut the lines..easier..tat's wat i do lah..i dunnoe abt qiang & kurarensu

A switch will do the trick..off it,on ur normal beam..

 

for mine i connect it to my headlight on/off switch..i off my headlight, the angel eyes lights up..i on my headlight, it off..but is i high beam, the angel eye will b on

i tried many before.. those 3v and combine wif resistors, etc.. tried it during the time where i make wif fnee.. the $2 led tats for plug n play for 12v is brighter than those 3v ones.. unless u're talking about high MCD rating for your 3v then urs will be brighter.. those claim to be super bright @ sim lim are actually not bright at all..

come to think of it. i got a proposal for whoever wants to help me make i can provide the LEDs, resistors, switch, heat shrink tube and wires. just help me to make the rest and the mounting. in return i can help you get them also. frm my sch. MAUHAUHAUA!! i took a couple of alan key screws for my bike number plate but not stainless steel so rust. wasted. HAHA.

today me & qiang jus fix a angel eye for our fellow sp rider.. previously his was done by SOMEONE here.. which the quality totally cannot make it.. the acrylic too thin, the lines uneven and worst of all.. the wiring cork up & messy, and use lotsa silicone to glue back the headlight unit to the head fairing..
