Sorry guys couldn't make it last night. Too tired working despatch yesterday.

Guys, anyone interested in a homemade Gear Position Indicator?

Its 6 LEDs is a row which will tell you which gear you are in from 1-6. Someone is making those in TLPlanet and offering USD$65 (ard SGD$110) for 1 (inclusive of shipping to S'pore).

http://tlplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34632

Its a cheaper alternative to the Acumen one. I have the schematics to build one but got no time and expertise to do it right now. So thinking of getting one.

You guys interested?

still deciding.

I know how to build it and wat parts to get.

The problem is the 2 chips are hard to get at SLT. Seems stock is out. I found a supplier at eBay that sells them quite ok prices.

They should work with all Suzuki EFI bikes, coz they come with Gear Position Sensors.

I'm still thinking of building one or not. If you guys are interested, why not give it a go? I can help order and you guys can use my PayPal to pay.

well, using a car battery will help to start the bike..but will the current affect the later condition of the bike? due to the battery's higher current
