ya, i think so, without testing, i cannot promise him anything..

and he asking 6.5k for a first batch 1998 model, the bike already 6~7 years old..

wildcard got his 2001 model TLR with interest only 7k+ last year, so i think his price is a little bit high.

so i need to know which bike shop carry TLR, i can call the shop to chekc the price for a FQ plate TLR, then i can bargain with him...

he drives car, so he dont know the market price also...

any kind soul can help me? any shop selling TLR so i can give they a call?

u need to start the bike and check if everything is good.if not its not advisable to give him ur word!

i also think it is kind of expensive for a 6~7 yrs old TLR...

the thing he has only flush mount signal, half tank bra, headlight protector and single seater.... the rest all stock, not even a manual fan switch is installed...

 

if he has ohlin rear suspension and damper then i will consider 6.5k reasonable... i also afraid of fault rear suspension as he lay up for 9 months liao.... after purchase still need to change oil, plug, TPS and TB syn, remap, pay rd tax, quite a lot of money if add up together....

 

i'm not in hurry, i can wait....

Damn fishy manz.....u say well maintained....yet cannot start....what logic is that???

 

He does not have to ride it to maintain the battery, simply switch on the bike and leave the engine running once every 2 or 3 weeks for a few minutes will keep the battery alive manz...

 

Most probably even basic things like his radiator also dried up liao manz.... haha

 

hmm....its best that he let u test ride the bike...becoz problems will not detected even if you simply start up the bike....a low engine oil will allow the bike to start up too...but damage the engine....take care ah..
