bike shop don't care what parts you have on the bike... for his age and mileage (RedDevil had 50K on it, this guy put another 20+K on it)... the shocks probably need to be checked already... bike shop will give less than $3K.. but sell for higher of course.

I am biased towards suzuki and all the FI bikes can use the Teka ;)
