john not in for the rearsets he prefer to do the tail first eh bro? hehe

the end cans are so worth it......yumyum

Jason knows me...too well....

haha... Shoei...OK, if we get in group order 4 or 5 sets, what's the price for the rea sets?

Glad you are happy about the endcans... I personally think it's a good deal too.

Actually.. I am quite itchy about the tail raiser... coz that could be a prelude to a undertail exhaust... I was just looking at the area under the rear seat....

hmm.. moving the tail lights a bit give good clearance for grafting something under....

ideas ideas... arrgghhhh!!!! NO TIME!!!! No place to D.I.Y.

cannot haf undertail exhaust in sg rite?

Hmm.. I don't think it will be an issue wrt placement as long as it's street legal.

Was thinking of grafting a yoshi approved or original TLR endcan, single can, onto the rear undertail... nothing firm... just an idea drifting around my head

any1 want the spacer bracket ?

i can cut only the spacer bracket

spacer i try to find the material (dun think workshop have that size)

i can get it done in my workshop (laser cutting) ...

just tell me how many u all need ....( mostly free )...

i want to know more about the TLR as i saving up for 1

Guys,

168... well, I know his real name... but for the moment we'll use his "168".

OK, he made a lot of the spacers.... cut and drilled from a 4mm thick Aluminium plate... does not look like it's strong enough alone... but I reckon if we sandwiched 2pieces and bolt on, it should work.

But no liabilities for me or 168..

Bro, thanks for the spacers for the tail raisers...

Guys any TLR outing plse sms me so that I can inform 168, he would like to trade stories with you guys about the TLR.

A better way to raise the TLR tail and improve the handling is to use a after market bracket or maybe if there is space, put a spacer to raise the tail via the big bolt on the rear shock.

Has anyone here done it before?

Comments...

Anyone know if there is a extension aftermarket bracket (part item 10) available?

a bolt on the suspension is gonna change ur geometry of ur bike!!

You are absolutely correct.

Using a spacer to raise the tail (via the sub-frame) does not change the geometry; so it's only of cosmetic value.

Apparently I read that for bike that tend to run wide (ie: TLR) you could raise the rear shock and hence change the geometry to make the bike steer quicker.

So raising it via the rear shock not only improves the cosmetic value but also improve the steering for the TLR.

Also... raising it this way (as against using the subframe spacer) does not require you to modify the endcan hangers/bolt point as all else remains the same.

yeah but for some of the guys here, we cannot do any height adjustment to the aftermarkt shocks we have i guess.

maybe i will be ordering some tail raiser from tlp if i can get hold.
