manifolds?

u mean exhaust headers? Changing to one-sided will reduce weight. But wun there be any exhaust resistance issues? Same as those who do undertail exhausts?

 

Just confirming, a +2 rear sprock will increase pickup but wun it lower top-end?

Oh, BTW,

Last nite, jialat manz. Running back to Singapore, I hit ard 200+. But when wanted to shift-up, I accidentally downshift and let go clutch. Wah! hope my engine ok coz let go for split-second only...

it wont lower ur top end too much coz the bike is too powerful liao...can deliever it at the top end using its power and its momentum(due to its weight).

 

i would vote it the best mod!

its oki one la...i always drop gear when im 200++ when it comes to a bent...safer this way

i have checked tlp and the guys told me that the right side exhaust is the one that is used more often.. so..i might aquire another manifold to do it..

oh, guys, sumting I noted.

I think the previous I did the Teka remap at Bikelab, the resulting mileage stayed the same coz I suspected at that time my TPS was off, causing to be be running rich.

Now Meng Tong checked my TPS again before the remap. Being in sync, he did the remap and now feels better. Last nite is first full tank. So I'll see the result in the next few days...

just got back from job interview...

sianz!

reserve light started blinking at 180km

ARRRGGHHH!!!

super-duper extra du-lan liao...

I dunno wat else to do to up the mileage...

tat day after MengTong did the remap, the mileage went up for the remaining half- tank.

Now, with a full tank of the same petrol he tuned, still kena 180. ARGH!!!!

give up liao...

Hey guys, is it a serious problem or a norm, when one exhaust is hotter than the other?

many say its normal....

one exhaust is colder than the other, actually....

forgot the exact reason why...

think ZX4 knows better. He's researching on the single-sided exhaust project...

Still can't figure out what I need to do to get the mileage up.

Sync TBs done.

Set TPS done.

Teka remap done.

FI system cleaned.

Changed riding style to below 4K RPM shifting.

 

Sigh......

Dunno what else.

 

Now studying the prospects of a Dynojet Stage 8 Weight Reduction Kit...

For the rider that is.....
