Woah. Mine can go 25km/l. Thats when I tompang people and whack sia. -.-

Maybe if alone and relax, can go up to 28-30?

Oh Yeah using any 98/8000 petrol, be it esso, caltex, shell etc.

Afew things to look out for:

- Was your piston and block healthy when u did the full service?

- Get your petrol main jet checked if its the stock size.

- Pump a lower grade of petrol. Instead of RON98, try RON95.

- Check your tires pressures. Very likely they are under pumped. Plays a significant part.

Btw, mostly small sprockets are used for top end and least likely for pickup.

About my ex-KR :

8years old. (can't remember 2000 or 2001)

32km / per lite. (Esso 95 or any station got 95)

Small Spocket for Pick-Up.

Engine Oil : motul 2stroke transoil something like that

Spark Plug : ngk racing or platinum will do don't waste money on iridium. not much different

Distance travel daily : 27KM (average) as my home place to school/work.

2t: only motul 710

how to get good fuel consumption?

1)ride according to the speed limit

2)don't pillion people

3)ur jetting

4)check tyre pressure

5) don't excessive braking

6)used what you learn at ur riding school and apply it on your daily riding.

last if ur previous owner did mod ur bike like porting or something like that than it nomal to have 17km/l if not than that not normal.

want good fuel consumption stick with stock part. then thing will never go wrong.

hope this help u bro :) or just join us at krr thread.

ride safely always

riding KR for 2 years plus...

FC: used to be 30km/L Now: 20km/L

How to save fuel:

ride below RPM 5 *nv maintain at 5 already..

Dun speed above 110 * seldom.. unless travel east-west or to north..

maintain throtte instead of rev up and down.. *most of the time maintain.. unless traffic

main jet/air jet change back to stock.. *both not stock..

dun port your block/carb *semi..

dun open your stomach.. *opened

for me..,

all above done..

RPM 7 daily to ensure valve not jammed.. used to jammed until like siao..

with heavy weight...

travel at least 24~30km per day... that's min.. max 50~80/day...

spark plug.. NGK Power..

EO: motul 710 or 300v double ester

2T: only motul 710

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

pro arm means theres only 1 "arm" holding onto ur back tyres, just like rvf. Swingarm means 2 "arms" holding onto ur back tyre.. NSR has 2 type.. NSR sp proarm and nsr rr swingarm
