Engine stall while changing gears

Dear All,

 

Encounter this problem recently.

After adjusting the clutch cable play, sometimes when riding, when changing gears throughout the trip, engine tend to stall once or twice.

 

has checked with the technican at HKL, he says maybe the idling rpm too low, after adjusting, problem still happens.

 

Anyone knows how to troubeshoot or where the problem lies?

engine stalls while changing gear and while riding..

 

i only know engine can stall when you stop moving.

 

once you start to move, engine cannot stall.

 

magnetic coil anyone?

if magnectic coil u'll probably have problem even to start ur bike( electric starter).

I have to go with either ur idling rpm too low or ur clutch biting point too near, ie. gear not fully disengage when u clutch in to stop/slow down....

another cause can be water in fuel.

btw, i'm riding a gsr600.

heard from gsr forum maybe due to the idling rpm too low.

currently lower than 1k. which is below the recommended 1.2 to 1.4.

mostly is due to idling rpm too low.....

if ur bike idles normally at 1.1-1.3k rpm n u lower to like....800 rpm when u clutch in change gear it will stall then when u release clutch it will sort of run again..

Blip throttle abit to prevent from stalling when changing gear. Retune back??

Yup, when engine stall, throttle abit and engine runs again. so most likely is the low idling i guess.
