Hi All,

I am making some plans to go up to Malaysia/Thailand and maybe further in 2010, I know there are a few threads with some info on places to stay etc but I thought it would be a good idea to get all recommended hotels under one thread, so please add the details of any good places so we can all share.

Thanks

Hatyai Regency Hotel, basement parking with security guards. Also around 700 bahts.

They got 2 different prices because they got new wing and old wing new wing more ex.

Can save money by going to travel agency there to ask for hotel vouncher before going to the hotel to get the room. That what we did, and the one we got was Regency, that's why so cheap.

Hi Bro, It's been some time since you asked that question about bike safe hotels in KL. Could you help me and other readers of this thread out by recommending some you may have found? I'll be heading there soon and have become a little paranoid after having my Super 4 stolen in JB once.

Thanks a mil.

In KL so far proven and tested..

Hotel Fortuna

The Royale Bintang

SKY hotel (new)

All these are in Bukit Bintang district. Right smack at the centre where u just step out of the hotel and everythings there.. Carpark is very well guarded. Usually if ur riding big bike, they will allow u to park in front of the lobby (based on my experience ONLY).

Good luck..

I stayed at Ipoh Downtown Hotel, it has a basement carpark with gates operated by security guard. Very safe parking for bikes!
