when to renew COE ?

my bike hit his 10years old @ may31st.

 

so when should i go renew his COE ?

i have heard the price of renew coe = adverange price of the COE of past 3 months ????

 

and when is the latest date , i need to go renew before it hits 31st of may ?

dont worry, you'll receive a letter from LTA reminding you of you COE expiry. thereafter you can decide when to renew. the process is so much simple than i thought. go LTA, fill in form, take queue no, make payment, and done! but i renew for 5 years only, so i dont know for 10 years.

dun ever renew for 5 yrs if u intend to keep or sell the bike.

 

eg:

if u renew 5 yrs, 5 yrs later u cannot renew anymore. tat means bike scrap, it'll makes yr bike vale lower if u intend to sell it.

if u renew 10 yrs, 10 yrs later u still can renew.
